We used Stix as a primer on our kitchen cabinets, worked wonderfully, with two coats of Ben Moore scuff x over the top, still going strong two years later and has held up very well.
Used this about 6 years ago on kitchen cabinets. Then a couple coats of Ben Moore Advance Satin. Both brilliant products. Expensive but Advance goes for miles. Two Fussy Blokes mini rollers and it was almost like a spray finish. Recently got new mdf doors and used Advance again as the top coat. Dead hard wearing, great finish.
Stix doesn’t run but Advance can. I used two fussy blokes smooth mini rollers and put thin coats on so it shouldn’t run if you do that. and even though I’m just a DIYer the finish is brilliant.
Haft in German mean Grip, so I'd say it would be very similar. it's interor nd exterior use too. Whether it's geared towards sufaces like glass or tiles like STiX is, I'd have to do a test and see,
I agree, but in the case of a premium quality paint that this is alleged to be, given the amount of people who rave about the opacity I'd expect it to go after one primer, one undercoat and one topcoat
I wouldn’t even bother with an undercoat if I’ve primed it. Or just get a primer/undercoat. Gets a bit silly after awhile. A couple top coat will sit just fine over a primer

Great to hear!

I have no idea
Hi Phil what do you think of Johnstones aqua guard durable gloss?
Wait for that video in a few weeks ;)
I saw another video where a decorator used it and they said it doesn't run

Hello mate, would you use that to paint kitchen tiles?
I think that would be a perfect situation.
@ProfessionalPainterDecorator do you reckon that be durable and last a long time
Do you think its better than Zinsser bullseye? That's always been a good primer for those glossy areas and it dries fast.
I'd say very similiar, they both there to do teh same thing
Good primer if using the BM system.
hand in glove :)
Thanks
Thank you.
Can't understand the reason why you'd want 2 coats of grip primer, surely 1 grip and 1 u/c would be better coverage before finish coat
Which UC would you use?

@ProfessionalPainterDecorator any water based u/c tinted to topcoat

@TheOlzee it's a specialist grip primer for problem surfaces
