As a Canadian in my late 50s, I well remember starting every elementary school day singing, "God Save The Queen", as a photo of her hung in each classroom.
She was an amazing, strong woman, dedicated to public service from a young age.
We must remember, she was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and how ours may have been so special in our lives, they deserve the respect of allowing them to mourn as any family would

My favorite video remembering Queen Elizabeth and her relationship with her Grandson Harry was when Harry walked up to his Grandmother Queen Elizabeth and stooped and kissed Queen Elizabeth Lovingly on both cheeks. Then he stood kind of tall, Harry didn’t rise above his Grandmother but his head came to attention and he bowed his head. That video showed me all of the love he possessed for his wonderful Grandmother and his Queen.

He didn't even visit her when he was there just like he did his grandfather saying it was "too unsafe" to visit his grandfather because he did not get the police security he wanted. And Meghan said they were just trying to stop the interview trashing and attacking them with slander and lies on international tv. Yeah he cared so much he moved away from her then trashed her monarchy and life multiple times and called her racist. At least her real family that love her not just attention like Harry were there for her in her last years.

I watched the Queen's coronation at four years old sitting on my mother's lap. I am the same age as Prince Charles, and the Monarchy has always been a deep part of my heart. My condolences are heart felt. Love to the home of my ancestors from Florida, USA. God save the King.

As a Ugandan, My country was part of the Common wealth and the Queen has always been in our hearts and I remember as a young child how excited I was to see her when she Visited Uganda in 2007. I grew to love her and I was deeply suddened when I was told she's dead. Personally am gonna miss her. She touched my heart as a young African child till date

Condolences to the Royal Family
. The Greatest Generation is leaving us, and we really needed their guidance. It's not only sad for the Royal family, and the British people but for all of us who see the era of order start to fall away. Though she was not my Queen, she represented the grandmother that we all could count on to tell us everything would be ok. Wisdom. Family. Duty. Country. We slip further into a state of chaos, but she was always there, never wavering. Calm, like the eye of the storm. May King Charles, and Prince William carry on her legacy. Rest in peace dear Queen.

Are you a fool or slow? He spit on the country and monarchy and said he hates the country and people and hates being royal. But he does use and sell and merch it though. He doesn't even want to live in the country or with the people and publicly has said he hates England and that he loves the U.S. and that it's his home. @Pops I don't think you know what being unstable or selfish is. Harry is not in line to the throne and he's also the second son. If he wants to try other opportunities in life outside the Monarchy, he should be allowed to do so. It shouldn't be an issue. Other European Royalties have day jobs and do not rely on the State for their livelihoods. That doesn't make Harry selfish, it means he wants to flex his muscles and see what he can achieve on his own. He should be applauded for it, not vilified for it. Maybe if you stop being biased and led by the media, and their attempt to dictate what the Royals should be, you might see things clearly.

It seems like William was the kid that everybody expected everything from meaning he didn't get much of a childhood in its full sense. Harry enjoyed a child-like relationship with the queen and I think part of why Harry left is because he knew he didn't want drama stirred up in his granmas house and also because he knew his grandma would love him regardless. He had the freedom to love her and be loved by her without expectation. A lot of elder siblings feel this way.

I lived in Florida where there are lots of nursing homes. A nurse joked once that the elderly that had money always got more visits from grandchildren than the ones that didn't have much money. A lady told me once that when she lived on a nice house with home theater and swimming pool, she would get visits often from grandchildren. When she moved to a nursing home the visits stopped.
Very sad indeed but that's part of life, sometimes relatives will be nicer to you if your have money or something to offer them.
