Hello, young lady. Thank you for your advice. I have teamed for the last 4 years. Only one ex-partner was a good experience. I am saddened that you had personal upheaval in your life. I am trying to be hired by a good company in my upstate NY area. I have one such company in my hopes. Best t

Talk about how difficult it is to sleep. Or is it not like trying to fall asleep on a roller coaster with bumps?

Hi, David! Thanks so much for checking out this video! I will absolutely do a video on sleeping in the truck. Though I am a solo driver now, when I was in training with my mentor and when I was teaming, I figured out that the best way for me to get sleep was to sleep in such a way that my body didn't really get rocked or bounced too much by the motion of the truck. It was more like a gentle swaying (kind of like when you rock a baby to sleep), which is much easier to sleep through than if you just allow yourself to "freefloat" around your mattress. I don't recommend taking medication to help with sleep because there are so many regulations regarding what you can and can't take while operating a CMV, but if you find that medicine is your only alternative, absolutely speak with your doctor and check DOT regulations to make sure that you will still be in compliance with the rules. I hope this helps until I can get an actual video out there! - Trucker Jordan

@@GreatCDLTraining Great, thank you! Also I have a lady from church who is looking to get into trucking but doesn't want to deal with having a male trainer. Are there female trainers available?

Hi, Harman S! Thank you very much! Great question: I was with my mentor for 2 weeks, part of which we didn't actually run as a team. Then I was with my teammate Shaun for about 2 months before we decided to part ways. In the large scheme of things, that wasn't a very long time at all, but I learned a lot during that time. What about you? - Trucker Jordan
