The character on the sandwich flag is Nausicaä from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, I believe its the first ghibli movie although it was made before studio ghibli was a thing technically. I can't wait to go one day, thanks for the video.
I'm grateful for videos like this that share the experience. Many of us will never be able to make it there. Also, I'm grateful it's in Japan because you could never build something like this here in America. Too many irresponsible hands coming and going. Disney and Universal are having a hard enough time with guest behavior. You've got a much more respectful audience over there.
Same problem in Europe, probably even worse than US because people smoke everywhere when they are outside. It's not illegal and they dont care. I wish it was illegal. So annoying.
@@DanihelMetalPromotionluckily people in the us usually respect smoking zones, its odd that they dont have them there, since they know they cant stop people its better to accommodate them in a way that doesn’t effect others
Totoro is our family fav! We have no idea how many times we watched it. My 6yr old survived the pandemic at home watching Totoro, that movie saved our sanity. ❤
For anyone wondering, the photo display with the yellow flowers and the sunrise is from Only Yesterday! Thank you for uploading an image of it, I've been watching so many videos to find what that one specifically looked like.
Gosh, you both look like you stepped out of a Ghibli movie!! The attention to detail is astounding!! The soot sprites in the walls. The Kodamas in the warehouse. The flag on the sandwich is Nausicaa!! Loved the pic with No Face!! All of the pics were so nice!! My favorite Ghibli is probably Ponyo, but I enjoy them all. Thank you for making this video. I'm American and 71 years old so I know I'll never get to experience your wonderful park. But you have shown it so well! I know I'd be totally broke because I'd have to bring EVERYTHING home from the souvenir shops!!! lol
Yes we were super impressed by all the details! We can tell you're so passionate about ghibli content and we truly hope you can still find some way to visit!
Growing up, it was and still is Totoro, but I think my all time favorite is Kiki's Delivery Service. I love the storyline, and how Jiji stole the show, which is the best part of the movie. Everytime when he talks make me enjoy the movie even more.
*How exciting! I can’t wait to go. My favorite Ghibli film is Howl’s Moving Castle! I love the story of her ultimately finding herself. I really love the English version because Christian Bale is so charming.*
This park is super cute. Thank you for showing it! It's on my bucket list to visit it someday. My favourite Ghibli movie is also "Howl's Moving Castle".
My favorite Ghibli movies is Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Castle In The Sky, and Totoro and trying to watch more ❤😊😊😊
Such a lucky couple. I'd love to go to Studio Ghibli theme park. The man is a genius and his animes are timeless classics. My favourite two are spirited away and Howl's moving castle. Great video.
Very impressive to see a park themed after the world-class animation studio! And may I say, the attention to detail is amazing! Princess Mononoke is my favorite of Miyazaki’s movies by a big long leap, but all the others are fantastic as well. As for the character you mention around 5:50, that’s Naussica from “Naussica of the Valley of the Wind”, the 1984 film which pilot-lit the creation of Ghibli Studio. FUN FACT: she was an inspiration for the Zelda we see in Breath of the Wild!
I really love your channel. Beautifully shot, edited and I enjoy both of your commentaries. The park is so beautifully designed and reflects the artistry, colors and world of the Ghibli films. Your music selection is wonderful. Thank you
I am dying to see all the Castle In the Sky stuff!! I only recently started watching Ghibli movies over the Christmas break with my younger sister and we absolutely loved Laputa! Totoro was also right up there for us.
i wish we could have nice quiet things like this in america..... thank you so much for sharing! 💕 oh! and i could live forever in the world of "spirited away"!! 🤗
Great video! I went last Friday and I agree, the gift shop was like a battle field, it was so difficult to film that part 🤣 But I was able to buy some stuff, even though I wasted one hour with lining up to get in and to pay lol
The character on the flag is Nausicaa! And the robot is from "Laputa: castle in the sky". There is also a mistake in the menu: it's "Pizza al taglio" and not "Pizza ar taglio" (in italian). What a wonderful tour! I hope to visit it as soon as possible
Merci, merci !!
I did not know until now that Japan made a real live theme park of all of the studio Gbilhi movies I’ve watched, OMG can’t wait to go there when I have the chance
Whispers of the heart is my favourite film ❤ Thank you for this, looks very busy but very fun. Hopefully one day I will make it to Japan and will add this to my list
I think these parks, if they had the money and resources, would be much more amazing if they actually recreated the cities from the animated movies. A little like what you guys saw inside the dome, but outside, like a big theme park divided by each city/place of the movies with actual building modeled after those. Being that many buildings are never seen inside, most buildings could be the utility rooms (like restaurants, cafe, shops, entertainment, art exposition, museum, etc). The same applied to the walking roads, instead of just being plain cement, there are many movies where the streets are made of cobblestone, it would be great if they did that. It would so great to have the actual feeling of walking inside the scenarios. Also, there are so many ghibli movies in nature, it would actually be great if they made park areas with the same flora as the movies or the closest possible.
That was a great trip you two went on. 5:53 That's Nausicaa from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. 8:13 My favorite Studio Ghibli movie is Kiki's Delivery Service.
Thank you so much for this video. My family plan to visit Japan one day, and the Ghibli Park is Number 1 on the list. We love Totoro so much. Even as a 46 year-old guy, my ambition is to take a seat on the cat bus! 🐈
Thank You very much for sharing this beautiful park with us. My favorite movie is Howl's Moving Castle as well. My Daughter's favorite movie is Spirited Away.
My favorite Ghibli film is Ponyo. But that’s not saying much because that along with my neighbor Toroto were the only ones ive seen. I intend to watch a lot more in the future.

Ah thank you! We haven't seen that yet, but was definitely on our to watch list
To me she's the best character of all Ghibli movies.
Btw, the manga is a masterpiece and i can't recommend it enough!
Nausicaa is one of our favorite family movies.
Nausicaa is my absolute favorite Gibli film... FYI, I've seen every Gibli film.
@@didibryan See movie first. Then read the manga it's is so much deeper, darker and more twisted. And it's a Hayao Miyazaki original.

As an American (if this park were to open here) I'd be ok with background checks and having to take a Ghibli quiz to be able to enter haha.
That's just bs. We have a park like this in my city and nobody screws with It. It's bigger than disney. Too many people just assume bs
Castle in the Sky. Not just my favorite Ghibli movie, but one of my favorite movies period.

Nausicaa from Nausicaa of the valley of the wind, my favorite of all the Ghibli films. That character you asked about on the flag of your sandwich.
Howls moving castle and spirited away❤
Thank you so much for sharing your day at the park. You two did a great job at showing us around all the attractions!
I saw Totoro live on stage in London last week. It’s utterly beautiful. If you get any chance to see it you have to do it.

Spirited away & Howl’s moving castle
I mean this wasn't a COMPLETE tour, regardless of construction, but still better than most videos of the park.
Such a lucky couple. I'd love to go to Studio Ghibli theme park. The man is a genius and his animes are timeless classics. My favourite two are spirited away and Howl's moving castle. Great video.
