Haha i see, makes sense obviously ! I couldn't point out why i would get my foundry by 4 turns, thanks for the quick reply ! Btw should I play in fast speed in my actual games or is normal speed smoother?
+Maelig no problem! I think the game is designed around normal instead of fast, so it's easier to use armies and attack. Reason is, production is x2 but armies will have the same speed, so they will be faster in normal! Just something to keep in mind. Have fun with the game!
Sure, sieging will reduce their fortifications, as well as substantially decrease their FIDSI output. Which means they won't be able to produce many units to fight off the siege. Fortification is important, it's basically if you decide to attack them, all militia units will get a boost of health point equivalent to the fortification. That can lose you some army. Defensively fortifications are great because it can let you defend a city with only militia, while building another army in another city. Hope that helps!
A lot, I just bought this game with my friends and we are playing together. I never played a game with so many information but im really enjoying it xD
Sure; you mixed it up with "last stand" that heroes have. This unit does not come back after you win the fight, it turns into an egg, and the egg regenerates health for 3 turns. If it is not destroyed within 3 turns, it comes back to fight, with the limited regeneration it had during the egg stage (all within the same fight). I'd advise you to fix it with an annotation if you still care about the vid; many newbies could potentially be mislead.
@@FMRPlays dont you think its a little bad to be trying to teach beginners to play in a start area they will hardly ever get and set expectations they will rarely obtain? Founders memorial on turn 2?
It's not that rare depending on map settings. I made that choice to keep videos short af interesting. It's quite and to create engaging content for 4x games. You could consider some situations to be a little too ideal but most advice still stand. Also I reviewed a lot of similar content before recording this and found out I'm not the only one. Anyway even with good settings these videos ended up being 40 minutes which feels too long for a beginners guide. I reworked that for my ES2 videos. If I were to do it again for EL then it would be obvious these situations are pre recorded to make the most of the guide. Hope that makes sense!
@@nlgarmdevil4411 Quite the opposite, actually - I think beginners should reroll the map if the settling standards are not met. The reason is that beginners do not have the ability to adapt properly and they need a bit of an advantage. Good players can make the best out of mediocre maps, but novices will struggle and have bad expierience overall. Founders memorial on turn 2 is for FAST speed, keep that in mind.
I know this is old. But - movement speed accessory gives initiative. Hover over the skill after you equip it.
very nice guide im new to the game and this will probably help alot
Are you playing in normal speed ? I mean the construction of Auriga's Museum looked pretty fast to me (beginner here btw)
+Maelig no I always play in fast - makes for shorter lets play series really!

Oui oui :) that's correct!
Nice!! Im from Brazil
I am not able to retrofit the units i got from that early faction quest
great guide
+Will Wood thanks!
Can you explain me what dos sieging a city does to them?

You explained "Revive" completely wrong...
I probably got it wrong. Care to give a better explanation?

Unfortunately I can't put annotations on these videos sun e it has an end screen (a RUclips limitation) but I'll update the description.
Thanks!
Great, thanks as well.
Done!
isnt that an unrealistically good starting area? xD
Well I had to reroll a bit to ensure I can make the video interesting and brief, so yes it is!
