You need a pick - any dollar store will have one. Excellent for removing duckweed.

Nice man! Can I ask how long the shrimp have been in the tank? Did you start off with Red, yellow and blue? I have just mixed those 3 colours recently. I think the moss helps so much. Good stuff

They have been in this particular tank for about a year, they started in a 20 gallon tank before that for a year prior. Started with culls from my yellows, and a bunch of babies from red and yellow mix. Blues were a very recent addition in the last few months.
      Thanks for the question!

I was just reading up if I could put swords with shrimp.. I have a 55g in a wall mount. I am setting up a 40 breeder and 25 gallon in the small room. I want to breed some swords.. But I don't want to limit it to nothing but a few swords.
I was hoping in the 40 gallon I could put a few shrimp in to give it some life.
In one of the other I want to have a few american flag fish.. Thoughts?

If you made some rock piles and plant/moss cover, they would be fine, some might be eaten, but it should be okay

Hi, i breed endlers too.. do you think is a problem keeping only males in a tank? I notice you did so😊

I havent had any losses, and they are super fun to watch together. I dont think it would be an issue.
