Calipari has become the victim of his own success. Now all the kids come in expecting to be turned into pros in one season no matter what their actual level of development. And when it doesn't happen, they transfer.

Calipari doesn’t develop anyone. The players that played their and succeeded did so cause they always were going to. Davis, Wall, Rose, etc all incredibly talented when they played for him. Plus it's the era that have competition that really wasn't competition and everyone got awarded metals and plaques even if they lost or came in last place that's not reality

Another one I'd like to see would be Rashaad Carruth, he was a top 15 player outta Oak Hill and he only played at UK for one season too. I think it was around 2001 or 2002 when he played at UK

I think he didn’t mind buying into his role at UK as being that versatile dirty work wing and he showed signs in the first 2 games that he was better than expected.Problem was the guys in front of him wasn’t producing and cal switched the line ups which pushed cams mins basically down to zero. He was pissed which I can’t blame him but he was wrong for leaving the bench during the unc game. Cal was wrong as well with how he went public and blasted him about the behind the scenes stuff. Khalil situation was different because he came with the mindset that he was better than what he was and felt he deserved a bigger role before he did anything. That’s why when he left the fan based didn’t respect him as much as cam.

He committed in August of 2019 and at that time his ranking was sky rocketing because his junior year he was really making strides in his game overall especially on offense. They had him ranked as high as 32nd and as low as 40-42. But like most UK commits they drop their ranking for what we reason. ( I think we know why lol). In reality tho his original ranking was more accurate in my opinion. Just feel like cal never really knew what he had because of the other stars he was rolling with anyway. Florida State is a much better situation for cam all around and can help him improve his draft stock.

I'd rather stay in college or go overseas than play in the G League. The only way I would feel comfortable playing in the G League is if I was on a 2 way contract and I'm getting NBA money or if I already had money like Lonzo and Lamelo. The G League doesn't pay shit unless you're a top HS prospect, and if you're playing basketball as a profession the G League money just doesn't cut it
