The only AL commander I wanted to buy. The steering is useful and I was able to get 3s rudder shift with her as inspiration on my Cleveland with Scott. It's also nice to have another offensive option though for heavy and light cruisers without switching skills on commanders. I like using Kinkaid on the Batlimore sometimes and it's kind of fun going 36 knots with under 2s rudder shift using Muller and AL Balti as inspirations.
Got AL Baltimore to Rank 11 finally, so 2 inspirations, running Madden and Yamamoto. First match in the Pensacola with Yamamoto, wasn't a great game, our team just kinda steamrolled so just chasing damage but last enemy was a Fuso, broadside at 15km, first salvo of AP, plunging, tight group as well, smacked him for over 6k. Second salvo was maybe 3k or so but was enough to kill him so it may have really been good enough for around 6k again. I can live with that.
And that's using her APsolute Ammo perk.
I play Azur Lane on my phone and Baltimore is one of my favorite ship girls from the game. Nothing can explain how happy I was for her to come earlier than i expected along with that amazing APsolute ammunition skill
I got this commander and (don’t hate me :D)AL Balti. Thinking this perk could be amazing on Cleveland too, resulting in wrecking battleship superstructures and broadside cruisers. I’ve had 10K+ salvos on almost broadside Hoppers. Love the Balti too, glad I picked this commander up.
Hey spartan !!! Ik these ships suck but if youd be up for the challenge would you consider either the gascoigne getting 150k+ damage game or a roma 200k game
LoL I can give it a shot in Roma not guaranteeing it because 200k games in Legends is rough.
Romas pretty easy to do 150k+ but gascan is a different question lol
Yes we want spartan in the roma, i just did a 170k while holding a zone with one destroyer, both ending up at more than 3k base xp, if rng is with you roma can be a beast

That awkward moment when you pass up a 1v1 on a destroyer with your radar cruiser to go for citadels and kills, come up one boat short of the kraken, then watch that same destroyer that you ignored win the game for the enemy team.

Those batteries lived a good life
Rechargeable so they aint done yet just gotta throw them back on the charger! I usually go through a set of 4 Rechargeable Batteries a year for my controller.

I think my favorite part about this commander isn't the special perk, but simply the fact that you no longer have to keep switching up Norman Scott's perks when you switch between light and heavy cruisers
That is a HUGE bonus for sure! The new perk is amazing as well!

Norm Scott? Eww, I prefer Einstein. However I wanted this commander before I saw this and now I really want it lol. Spartan try this out. The scharnhorst commander on the GK. I kid you not the accuracy is on par with the Alabama. It’s a game changer for that ship.

The apsolute ammunition is absolutely disgusting to use, and absolutely horrifying to be used on. American ap is already disgusting enough when I can citadel an Iowa 14 kilometers away in an indianapolis, this is just icing on the cake, and I'm loving every second of it.

It is a good one on Balti I have my video testing it on Alaska today in 4 hours and 15 minutes.
I am not surprised for the hate these AL ships are getting but you have to realize, they're all based of the anime versions of themselves so that is why their paint would look like this. I know that a majority of the community isn't a fan of Azur Lane but if it is possible not to throw so much hate, that'd be great. I won't say I was disappointed either, they 100% could have done more for the Baltimore camo but take notice this is a not a big developing team, don't hate so much.
And if anything? I hope they add some Azur Lane Russians commanders since they bring some really good in-game traits like the Tashkent & Chapayev.
Hey sparten what are your thoughts on the baltimore captain on the cleveland. I just unlocked the ship and pulled the captain from the Advent thing. Thanks always enjoy your videos as a playstation guy. A current DD captain converted from BB captain
I got my "AL" graf spee commander to level 10, soon to be level 16, with legendary 2 and I am loving her😍. I have Scott and Madden for inspiration which helps me immensely. Aside from her wonderful voice, I'm glad I got her. Now, I got to level up my "AL" Scharnhorst commander and fiddle around with her for that perfect middle ground skill set. I'm looking forward to more Azure Lane commanders in the future.

Im not sure but I doubt it as AL Balti is considered a different ship so a Camo for regular Baltimore likely wouldn't work.

Finally! I can use AP against destroyers and not over pen them
I wouldn't go that far it is still better to use HE from cruisers against DDs unless you're british of course

Not in my opinion due to the lighter shells that don't have issues overpenning anyway. Though her base trait as an inspiration to help rudder shift may be useful...

Sup Spartan not gunna lie up till now I wasn’t big on the American heavy cruisers, but when I saw that skill on Baltimore I immediately thought, Spartan is going to love this and surly I too shall enjoy playing American heavy cruisers. I then proceeded to have my first 4 games in a Baltimore and the last ended with 146.000 damage, 6 kills, a large number of citidels, and a new love for the American heavy cruisers.
I have been preaching on how amazing Balti is, it is an amazing cruiser! Now with this perk and less Overpens on Cruisers just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside

I really dont like the thing that wargaming did with the exact coppies of "premium" ships, the commanders are a meh for me. I think the most useful commander either its Balti, or Graf Spee. Idk. Finally not a domination match jajajajajajaja.
Yeah they are hit and miss but at least they aren't completely broken additions to the game you know. So there is at least a bright spot with these additions.

Nope if you build them with same commander and equipment they are identical stats wise

Yeah I turned them on for this video and then turned them back off afterwards they do get annoying pretty quickly. Though Balti voiceover isn't nearly as bad as some of the first AL commanders

Destroyers can win or lose a game. You're in a radar cruisers you need to have dealt some damage to one of the destroyers.
You're not wrong but the only DD near me was staying well back from me most of the time only showing up to deal damage while I was focused on someone else.
I wholeheartedly agree that if I had played the ending out differently I could have won that match for the team. I just was counting on the Nagato to be well a Nagato but turns out in this match it was an Iowa. Flip of a coin this time I lost.

I all ways have to keep my rechargeable battery close by when I’m playing DD,Cruiser or Battleship but sometimes it happens at the best of times when there’s no one around and you sailing off to take C as a battleship but still I got to get that ship because it seems a lot of fun. I love watching your videos and it help me become so much better at the game to were I was being sunk by torpedos none stop and now with experience I am king of torpedo beats in a Iowa and doggy all the torpedos.Thank you Spartan and I hope to sail with you or against you.By the way yes I am TangetTeaxs47 something.

How is the Graf spee commander? I'm currently working the German cruiser line and actually won the Graf spee in a free container
Working pretty well for me, she if you can believe it is perfect for the graf because of the heal, and is a great inspiration for a British commander for the heal as well, but with normal cruisers not to big a difference

It all comes down to personal preference there is no right and wrong way to use a ship it is however it works for you.

Glad APsolute Ammunition works on the Baltimore. So far it's done nothing for the likes of the Wichita, Indy or Pensacola (as far as I've gotten on the heavy cruiser tech tree, decided to get the Cleveland first).
But in the Wichita, hitting tight groups on a broadside Hipper at 3km or so and not even a decent pen let alone citadel. Or even a single citadel ever in any game I've used that perk.
I could see it being good on Pensi because of her tier shes up against a lot of light cruisers but yeah Wichita and Cleveland don't tend to overpen as much as Balti because they use a much lighter AP shell.
