Hey Spartan? I demand to know how you could POSSIBLY KNOW that sailing in open water broadside in the Buffalo could end horribly
There I was looking down the barrels of my guns at 15 km away there was a battleship sailing broadside that I could just easily burn to the ground so I turned a little bit broadside to get all 4 guns to bear as I'm firing the DAKKA away at the battleship low and behold an enemy battleship who was unseen on the other side of the island fired his shells at me 16" of American armor piercing enter the broadside of my ship and KAPOW! that's how I know

@@TehKang it's called surprise attack, it can't be a surprise if you yell attack.
@@Hero-wc6gq I beg to differ. The surprise in the attack could be that you yelled surprise at someone while attacking them. That would turn a mundane attack into quite the surprising one
I love this ship so much, I hit a citadel on a GK from like 15km away. And the AP damage is insane.

Having twist & track on a Cruiser must be very useful. PS pronouncing "H" as Haitch, is an English thing, the rest of the UK pronounces it the correct way 😋

Hey spartan! I am newer to battleships, (I play mostly cruisers) any suggestions on which line I should grind first? I was thinking maybe the British BBs as I like their light cruisers.
New player here also. American BBs first for sure!
I really love British BBS, just depends on your play style. British battleships have super heals which is nice, they have kind of small guns though. American battleships are good all around ships.
I always recommend the US line first as they are the easiest to learn for newer players
Let's not forget in actual history. America was known for its navy. Nevada known as the unsinkable ship, Texas for it's gangster lean on D-Day, and the USS Iowa class battleship that sunk a small fortified island. When I read about that I was baffled.
I don't get why they added a paper ship improved Baltimore-Class project CA-B. When the USN built an improved Baltimore-Class in the form of the Oregon City-Class Heavy Cruisers. 4 were built USS Oregon City (CA-122) USS Albany (CA-123 later CG-10) USS Rochester (CA-124) and USS Northampton (CA-125/CLC-1)
So spartan, is the Baltimore still the king of the cruisers? Or has that title changed to either the Buffalo or the Des Moines?

I finished Maine on update day and I love it. But damn, I also really like buffalo.
Love your vids bro, however, i advice using prop mod and starting. That way you have your prop wich is amazing and you can dodge with it a lot, and you have the better stearing so it is a win win situation. You do lose your conselment but it does not really matter because you are mostly firing your guns.

This ship is crazy. I sold Somers (never liked it) just to get my hands on buffalo. You can get her reload to around 7.5 seconds.
Why don’t destroyers use twist and track or perspective when there’s only a dd left everyone is reliant on you to find the dd it also helps when approaching caps
Because they play like cruisers more often than not meaning they are useless
Since the guns reloads in 10 seconds with the upgraded guns just like Wichita then with my Scotty build i can reload in 8.2 seconds. I have my Einstein in a brawler build that makes my Pensacola and Alaska very worthy with a reload of 15.2 on my Alaska and around 25 seconds of traverse on my Pensacola. When i get this ship I'll give it to Scotty and set the ship the same way as my Wichita.
Hopefully light cruiser Seattle is our new tech tree tier 8 and same for battleship Minnesota

Should I run plotting room on Kansas? Maine with plotting is really making me think about it. But I really like getting two shots with one spotter in Kansas (the accuracy is still good enough).

I record my gameplay using a capture card
If you're on Xbox then set up a button to capture the previous 60 secs of gameplay. It's been helpful to me so I can understand how I just got DEATHSTRUCK !I 😆

I agree that the American cruisers, gun-wise, are better, but they're also more boring to play than say the Germans, Russians or Japanese.
I can say that I've yet to play in a match in which I feared an American cruiser...why?
no torpedos, that's why. I've one less thing to worry about out there. That means if I'm in a BB and I see an American cruiser...I'm going to go right at you and destroy your ship.
Does that work 100% if the time? No. But it works a lot better against an American cruiser than a Hipper, Mainz, Suzuya, Mogami, Edinburgh, Tallinn or a Charles Martel. Just Sayin.
When one has torpedos, then ya have another dynamic to make those other ships think a bit more and that will make them a bit more cautious, perhaps even a bit nervous, especially if it's a BB, and thats why the American cruisers are good but...

My opinion American HE isn’t the best, British HE is the best in my opinion. I don’t normally run American ships but when I do I only use AP because it is the best AP

I like the firepower but that's a moot point when every single time you get hit by a Battleship half or 3/4 of your health is just gone.. Even if they only hit 2 shells!! And dont think about trying to stop to back up or stop to go forward, Noah built the Arc in less time.. And yes Spartan, if you get caught in open water, taps immediately begin to start playing!!
