One thing I loved about Kobe Bryant is that he was the first to get to the gym and the last to leave. His work ethics were extraordinary which made him the superstar that he was. Lebron also understands this. Rui Hachimura is following Lebron's steps, which tell me a lot about him. The Japanese culture is very different than American culture. They work hard to perfect their skills and become professionals at whatever they do. I know Rui is only going to get better with time. I am a little disappointed with the rest of the Lakers, because they are only doing what they have to. Real stars are not born, they are made with hard work and dedication. If the Lakers hope to win the championship this year, they all have to go the extra mile. Not just doing the minimum. The other teams in the NBA might be going the extra mile. I agree Rui is the best player out of himself, Vando, and Prince(the 3 possible starters), but I feel Rui should come off the bench because you dont want to have all your offensive power in the starting lineup

Vando should start but Rui should obviously play more minutes and close but vando is gonna help bron on the defensive end and if his corner 3 got better its gravy on top, bron AD, Dlo and reaves is enough offense on the starting line up but bron takes nights off on the defensive end now until the post season so you’ll need vando to help out on that end more than you’ll need rui’s scoring, let rui come in off the bench and light it up.

He might be good either way. Hom pressing to pass Kareem for #1 all time on the scoring list was a big factor in his injuries. With the team struggling and AD out, he pressed more for the record than he would've if the team was in serious title contention.
@@batsgamingph perhaps, but many would also say that more weight and muscle mass actually reduces the likelihood of injury. But certainly coming down wrong on your ankle while at a high bodyweight is no bueno, as I learned a few months ago.

He's an old player. He'll probably settle for more long shots. He may still make it look easy, but I'd bet he's taking those shots more out of necessity than anything at his age.

rui should try the mid-range post by kobe. rui is already great at mid, can use his body at the high post, learn footwork, have options to fade, pump fake, step in attack more or kick out. i mean the kobe stuff.
defensively - rui needs more lateral quickness and IQ/reaction. he can also use his body to box out bigger centers/PFs

You have guys that show up early and workout before practice , guys that do both before and after ! And you have guys that practice and then return at night to workout ! AD workouts a lot after he’s gone home rested comes back and night and get shots up with his trainer …. And he still works out after practice !
