Not sure why on these, I think people are afraid of maintenance, but I'm a mechanic so im not intimidated and these just don't have any big issues. Theres a darn good chance one of these will be my next buy
I own one of these in Ireland....very rare in Northern Ireland and completely not available in Ireland....and has the same spec as this although not an L and a 3Litre diesel V6, but my car has the same spec and turns heads everywhere I go and even the kids love it! Nice video, a long while ago but still totally relevant.
@Tim Briggs Yeah mauveine was only avilable on Jet/Jet unless you wanted to pay extra when you ordered it brand new, that's a beautiful combo, mine is jet/jet with figured ebony. Only buy the 2012/2013's, as they had the rear reclining/,assaging seats, and are far more desirable, also had the newer infotainmeny system. The one in the 2011 is outdated by todays standards, where as the 12/13's are as good as the ones today
A 510-hp Superchargerd Jaguar is not going to be as reliable as a Corolla. Any type of vehicle like this that is older is going to need more TLC than your average vehicle and repairs can be very expansive, sometimes more than what the vehicle is worth. If you can only afford to maintain a single prop Censna you shouldnt own a 747. Cars like this are for some poeple but not for everyone.
We are not a Jaguar dealer, but my guess replacing an engine would cost more than the vehicle is worth with a brand new one. You would be better off finding a used engine and having it installed. Sorry to hear about engine going bad. My guess it would be anywhere to between $10k-$20k to have a used engine installed at a Jaguar dealer if they could find one.
It's a JagYOUar not a JagWar. Pronouce the YOU in the middle. It's NOT a W. A single U is pronouced YOU not WAH. Stop being lazy with your pronunciation. Drives me CRAZY!!
Interior color combo is the best I've ever seen
And thats what make that shit sexy. I love lincolns and jags and the colors are great with the wood trim
I would be so bold and put some vogue tyres on it
I have one and man I love it 😀 😍 ❤️ 💕 💓 💖
That interior is iconic
Thanks to depreciation, British luxury cars are the best used car value.

Woww I’ve never seen vanity mirrors in the rear part of a car before
Cars like these have been built to be driven and not just to talk about...
It has a virtual cockpit in 2011 how cool is that
Amazing car!
Mine is newer but has a purple glovebox, did this have one too?

How is reliability compared to bmws or benz?
Its probably about the same, Consumer Reports would probably have better info on that.

attella2001 if it’s the super sport which it is bc I see the leather roof . It’s 510 hp !
I have the 470 need it’s extremely fast , which I had the SS tho!!!
@@abovenbeyondlimits81 you can just tune your Jaguar and it will be the same or even faster than the supersport, only costs like 100-400
@@abovenbeyondlimits81 and that makes the experience more fun since you’re doing the work yourself lmao

Actually, in Britain, it is pronounced JagYouEr.
@@GrahamPhotog Indeed you are correct, but it's still a YOU not a W
