- My 1994 Evo Chopper is BACK ON THE ROAD!
I got the tins back from my homie Dan (@NoLuckPaintWorks on Instagram) who brought my "Factory Look" paint scheme to life on this @lowbrowcustoms King Peanut Tank.
I'll take you through how the bike looks from every angle imaginable, and then I'll get that kickstarter moving so we can take a cruise together around one of my favorite loops.
Kick back and enjoy the sounds of this freshly rebuilt EVO Big Twin motor while the rattling Dry Clutch and open primary reminds you that this is no ordinary EVO.
You'll also get a good look at some jockey shifting action if you've been wondering how it looks on a real ridealong. I've even included a short tutorial showing you how to reliably come to a stop IN GEAR with a foot clutch and no front brake.
Enjoy!

Here I am, 5 AM, drinking coffee getting ready for a ride. And I'm watching and enjoying your's.
Thanks for the "appetizer"!
Beautiful bike! Straight ripping those roads a new one.
Ya dig the points cover for sure!!! Love the paint, just the overall look! Thanks for sharing your bike with us!
Thank you brotha, I appreciate ya checking out the channel 🤘🏼🙏🏼
Great ride love that jokey shift. Have fun!
Thanks brotha!
Why your voice so magical? Haha no homo
Hahah all in the editing
I don't usually like ridealong videos, but this one was good. Really like the paint.
Now you just need a set of 5 inch tall stainless z bars. With the uprights narrower than the forks, and narrow end to end.
Looks great dude!
Thanks brotha!
That actually is an excellent paint scheme. Very Cool😎 You have a good eye.
Thanks brotha!
Something about a fat fenderless front tire I just love. Great looking bike!
Right?? All I see these days is the super narrow 21 look but I always loved the chunky wheels and forks 💪🏼
Nice points cover. 🤘💪
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hell yeah grease this bike is bitchin’ i love the paint on it and that shift knob is cool as hell! I wish you guys made lowlife chopper podcast patches…
Thank you brotha! With this new channel up and running I'm going to be getting to some merch in the near future.
Just Put a springer on my bike just need risers and im on the road . No front brake jockey shift. Im excited!
Very cool! Love the look of a springer
Looks grouse!
Awesome bike man! What bars are you running, this is exactly what i’ve been looking for for my evo
Thanks brotha, I appreciate that! Bars are from a friend so I don’t know the maker but they are your standard ape hangers that could easily come from the lowest price seller on eBay haha. I believe they are 10” or 12” I will measure for ya
Best ride in the area
We’re so lucky to have roads like this nearby 🙏🏼
I like it. I converted my shovelhead to foot clutch a few years ago, and I love it. I've got a friendly suggestion for you: run an internal throttle cable. That would leave your bars totally clean. It's a really cool look not having anything hanging off the bars. Just an idea. Keep the rubber side down.
Can I ask what brand you recommend? The only thing that’s been keeping me from doing that is everyone I’ve known who ran one had problems with them. If you can recommend a solid one I think it would look great and make for a great video as well
I can't recommend a particular brand. It's been about 15 years since I installed it, and I don't remember who made it. I remember I had to cut off part of the bars and drill holes to mount the spiral throttle assy. Ran the cable thru the bars and out the bottom between the risers. I'm only running one pull cable, not the push/pull cables it started out with. Haven't had any problems with it over the years. I remember loading up the spiral assy with grease, which I'm sure helped it out. Sorry I can't offer more input. I bet if you hunted online you could find a good setup. Good luck! @@greasesgarage
Just watched this video. I like the floorboards and the motor selection. Keep your life insurance up to date. If you wanted to keep your handlebars clean you could have gone with an internal throttle. I am hoping you survive long enough to get your brain to overtake your ego. Later my friend.
A friend of mine who has been doing RUclips for a long time told me “you’ll know the channel is growing when you get negative feedback from people you don’t know”
I’m happy to see it’s growing 🙏🏼 thank you for watching and commenting, it helps make sure more people are shown this video
When you get the new exhaust done,, whats next? Should be pretty dialed in .
Might mess with some other bars, something lower. Curious to see how it would look. Basically that and the exhaust left to go!
How does the velocity stack do at high speed 50mph with a cross wind? Does it break up or run erratic?
It breaks up around 65mph on mine but is fine both below that speed and oddly enough above it. Just one little dead zone. A larger main jet would almost certainly fix this but I don’t have any larger jets here to confirm it
Where's yer "chopper tool kit"?...and, maybe throw some blue LT in it. Thnx for the ride.
Right on the back of the bike where it belongs 👍🏼
Are you running a 4 speed ratchet top? And what clutch is that? Bdl?
4 speed cowpie transmission, I’ve got a full video showing how I made the foot clutch setup if you’re interested its in the description.
Belt drive is the BDL 4 speed kickstart only kit
Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻
No gauges at all, you have an oil temp gauge next to the key switch!!!
What frame do you have?
Stock 94 softail frame with a Shovelhead hardtail welded onto it
What shovelhead hard tail did you put. I just picked up a 97 softail and can’t choose rather I want a new rigid frame or welled on a a rigid tail end
Thanks for the response ✌🏽✨
@JulianGuevaraphoto planning a video on that topic! I used a road 6 customs tail. It’s not made for an evo so it would require a slight modification
what is that noise? that scraping noise when he lets off the gas
Haha it’s a very jarring noise isn’t it? That’s the dry clutch, the sound is the clutch plates chattering
@@greasesgarage it sounds REALLY cool though lol
Sorry, what year evo?
1994
Big twin right? ,that's can't be a sporty, if your using a rotary top transmission
I've been watching some of your videos, I didn't see any on the build, nice scooter 🤟🤘💯
Where was da toolbag?!
3:55
And still couldn't make it stick? Sounds like it's gonna need a good bit of your good ole buddy
“ no gauges of any kind “ , rubbish I saw an oil pressure gauge!
You did not lol
I mean does anyone else think this bike sounds just awful? Call it what ever you want but who wants to ride around listening to that?
You do
