It sucks that fighting game developers have to keep bringing back dead characters like this. I am still looking forward to playing Tekken 8 one day, though.

I believe the main reason Harada revived Heihachi is because of Tekken’s 30th Anniversary.

Heihachi still human but promised to devil that he bring Kazuya to him after the latter save him.

Heihachi should’ve stayed dead so that the story could progress to the potential for a new saga from the Mishima saga.
I hope Harada addresses this issue with Heihachi’s return by giving him a permanent death in Tekken 9.
