4:34 I feel like "connor's happy place" could've worked here. Emergency exit makes me think of buildings. You "go to your happy place" when your hide in a corner and talk to yourself, which is kinda what she's talking about connor doing. 4:46 aaaaand that's not what she's talking about lol

At 3:12 she seems to think this transition is from connor remembering actually meeting amanda. But at 4:25 she realizes that she's "in his head" so to speak. I thought what she was trying to say by nigemichi was "a place in your head where you run away to". The closest thing I could think that people use to mean somebody being inside their head is happy place, however that has connotations of insanity or childlike avoidance, so not the best translation. Anyway by 4:46 I realize my mistake and that she's actually referencing the kamski lore so yea the amanda backdoor thing is well translated

Right, have a question too! Do you actually translate the game dialogue or do you just get the transcript from the game and put it there?
I tried to match the dialogues said in japanese with the transcripts from the game for the first few chapter. Turns out it was a lot of effort and people seems to don't mind with the original game transcripts. They also localized a lot of things in the japanese dub which made it even harder to translate.
Subaru managing to lead a pretty damn evil Connor into the more sympathetic route is an interesting choice.
I seriously love how Subaru is so immersed in this game, it makes it all 10x better lmao. Thanks again for another awesome translation!
