Just like how Americans don’t learn Japanese history super in-depth, Japanese people don’t learn about American history in-depth. She probably understands generic racial segregation but not about the slave trade or any other racial innuendo. I have heard that Japanese people are often racially biased since they literally have no diversity in Japan.

Staying self-disciplined with studying is freaking hard. But know that it will definitely pay off in the end.
