I grew up with a nes and never played Kirby until 2018 or so when I got a used copy of dream collection to share with my kids. The game boy and nes games were the easy games I was looking for back then. Fun enough to enjoy but not so hard that it made me dislike them.
Daily reminder there is a Kirby's Dream Land DX hack + the Revised version looks very good
you should check the Ganbare Goemon snes games, all of them have a patch including the first one that is a better version to the USA one
I've played the one that Konami localized (Legend of the Mystical Ninja). I enjoyed it, so I'll have to check the other ones out at some point.
