I notice there is a slight math error @33:40 in Example 2 (Average Size) - if Thigh = 26 What is hip? Hip = 26/2 - 2.5" = 10.5" (which is the Hip circumference /4) hip = 10.5" x 4 = 42" (Full hip measurement Cir) So if the thigh = 26", the hip = 42"
Some are based on real tailoring formulas just like math, physics and chemistry formulas...Most importantly Many of the formulas here are based off on my own experiences...

Good afternoon Sir, how can I determine the round shoulder of a person I don't have this measurements. Shoulder circumstance, Upper bust circumstances. Her bust is 39. Her shoulder is 16, under bust is 13.5 on this underbust how do I determine the bust?
If under bust length is 13.5 then bust length is 13.5 - 3 = 10.5 inches... Her round off shoulder should be between 40 - 42 inches... You can use 41...it will be okay...

Correct...you can also use 3.5 instead of 3 just to give more ease...that is if you want...also it can be used for both genders...
