I have one that I mounted on a new Canik METE SFT. Took it to the range today for the first time. After adjusting to co-witness with the iron sights, it only took me a few shots to dial it in at 10 yards. Held zero for 100 rounds or so. I also have a Cyelee CT2 and Wolf 0 on other guns with hundreds of rounds with no issues. I'm a Cyelee fan, for sure.
I have had it on my hellcat. Have had 1200 rounds since I put it on. 3 different range visits. Has not lost zero at this point. I am pretty happy with it. I originally got just to try and see if I would like red dots. Going to just stick with this one.
Hey man! Thanks for sharing your experience 👊🏻 So far I’ve been pretty happy with this one. I’ve only shot it in the 22 but hopefully I’ll be putting it on the 9mm and 45.
I just got this optic for my P365XMacro I put about 600-700 rounds thru it no issues and I’ve drop tested it some and banged it against walls etc and it’s still going strong. The housing is banged up but glass is still clear and dot functions and holds zero
Received the green dot 3.5 MOA seely cat yesterday and haven't been to the range yet. I've a red dot 3 MOA Wolf0 on my other pistol and it works great. Holds zero like it's supposed to after 200+ rounds.
Hey brother, just wanted to give you a heads up, new shipments are hitting the warehouse with plates, I am going to make sure some find their way to you, also we ran into trouble with Amazon but the "night" settings are for Nightvision... I have tested the waterproof myself and on most production cut guns and plates it is solid but not every single company doing cuts is doing them deadnuts flat, so yeah we need the plate to be 100% sure for every build.
Hey man👋 That’s fantastic news. I put the optic outside at like -6F all night and it bounced right on when I picked it up. I’m pretty impressed so far. I’d absolutely love to see the updated version with a plate 😃👌
@@CalebDowning Check the Wolf0 listing on Amazon, we put a red dot into a freezer as well and it kept working! We also have a separate screw pack coming to expand to more slides and I really want all the screw iterations to have at least 4 or 5 different lengths!
Excellent 👌 It’s nice to hear you are actually improving and moving your products forward instead of just making something and forgetting about it. Innovation, I love it 👍
Nice video, at the price range this thing seems awesome... Way more durable then the romeo for the same price/less 100$ less then a 407k also, If they could just put a side or top load battery in it Id move to 1 of those over my holosuns due to larger glass and less price.
@@CalebDowning I just got the green dot cat in and am going to test it this weekend. So far it's mounted up nicely on the AREX Delta M tactical. Looking forward to the cat pro review
Got it $4 Thursday came in yesterday one RUclipsr had 25% off and I had Amazon credit def well made don’t come off cheap not paying 4-700 for a dot cyclee I have on my ar as well they my go to well made and not overpriced
Agreed 👍 you’d have to make sure your front sight is the right height. Each make and model of firearms and sights are gonna be a little different. I know that the integrated rear sights are too short for the front iron sight on my 1911.
So i wanted to know how it held up a year later. I just got mine i chose it over the crimson trace 1550 on my shield plus... I zeroed it and shot a box it seemed to stay good but ive had it 4 days. So anyone have it longer?
That bottom loading battery is a deal breaker... Even at the low price point. ETA: HOLOSUN figured out how to do micro red dots... Everyone else needs to follow their lead... Up to, and including Trijicon. There's just no reason/excuse why manufacturers aren't using side and top mounts at all this point.
Holosun can kiss my ass rmsc foot print is bs if u can’t direct mount it’s a DEAL BREAKER…I’m not using a plate to use the rmsc folks don’t talk about that bs but be worried about bottom loading batteries 9/10 wont ever use the gun for self defense that’s u if u a fake operator and walk around wit the dot on all day and edc should b co witness anyway auto off shake away etc
It has screws that will fit as far as the thread pitch but they will need to be trimmed in length. I’ve had this same issue with other optics, they don’t all have the same size screws. I had some screws from another optic that fit it though.
@@CalebDowning it says it fits the "Holosun K-footprint." But I cant find out what redots will fit it that are cheaper. Says "modified RMSc Footprint."
I pulled this off of their website… “TaurusTX™ 22 Compact pistols are optics ready from the factory, with a footprint that matches the Shield RMSc and Holosun K optics.” So yes since it has the RMSc footprint then it’ll fit.
I am truly impressed with this optic, the build quality fit and finish is up there, I'd stretch and say this is the best optic at this price range and might be better than some other optics that are $100 or so dollars more. Great product. My Testing was done on m&p 5.7 and m&p shield plus.
@Caleb Downing agree, I read alot of people bashing them when they haven't even tried them, got to think it's like when any newcomers come, holosun was the same way everyone was bashing them but look at them now.
How do you like it on the Shield Plus? I have the same gun. My one hang up is that it looks a little too wide and would hang over each side a bit too much…
I was reading off the some info in they manual I think. They may have updated the info, or I could have misspoke 🙊 I’d go off their website to be safe 👌
And waiting pays off didn’t buy it when it first came out waited so it’s improved glass is clear no tint and 3.5 Moa they improved it b4 make the pro I passed not paying more for a side battery I’m not walking around wit it on co witness I’m still good on the draw and the newer ones comes wit a vinyl plate guard u put on the gun b4 u put the optic on I never rush out to buy product a year or more b4 I buy it’s jus common sense
I’ll agree with that, hat’s why I said 80%. I don’t think these are marketed toward “professionals”. These are more fit for the enthusiast, range gun, fun gun or even hunting. I’ve had some mid-tier optics that just didn’t work, so I like to vet any optic regardless of brand name. And I hear y man. I’m not gonna try and say these optics are “just ad good” as $700 optics out there. These have a niche and if they stay in their niche I think they will work well.

Nice. I might check these out for my Brownell's Glock RMR cut long slide.
Lord willing I’ll be able to bring it out this weekend and actually shoot it. I’ve got some high expectation for it for sure.
Have one on my Taurus gx4 and I love it no problems yet.

An excellent optic!
I see Larry back there.
Haha, he’s always watching 👀
Excited to put on my shield plus

Military grade for big army is usually garbage . Unless you're SOF. Also are the fiber optics actually usable for cosiness?

I would have really liked to see how the those fiber optic sights showed up. Wrong gun for that.
Ya they didn’t show up too well in the 502. I put the optic on my 1911, that one did show the fiber optics pretty well 👍

Did you have to get different screws to fit into the 1911?
It has screws that will fit as far as the thread pitch but they will need to be trimmed in length. I’ve had this same issue with other optics, they don’t all have the same size screws.
I had some screws from another optic that fit it though.
Can you manually turn this off and on
Yes you can. If you hold down the “-“ button then the unit will power off. Press any other button and it will turn back on.
What is the weight of the cyelee cat
Where’d you get that hat? Also nice sweater!😂
I had that hat made over on Printful 👌 I like it better than the ones from TeeSpring 😉
And thanks 😁👊🏻
Does anyone know if this red dot will fit on my Taurus GX4 T.O.R.O. ?
On Taurus website it says it has the RMSc footprint, so it should fit 👍
will this work on the taurus TX22 compact?
It the TX22 compact has the RMSc footprint then it’ll fit. If it has the RMR footprint then you may want to look at the WOLF PRO.
@@CalebDowning it says it fits the "Holosun K-footprint." But I cant find out what redots will fit it that are cheaper. Says "modified RMSc Footprint."
I see, It should I fit. I believe the “modification” is the deletion or reduction of the recoil lugs to accommodate the Holosun 507k.

@archipelago93 it actually fits great I like it alot. I wish there was a way I can post a picture on here.
Ir would be cool
It says it’s got some NV setting 🤷♂️
You say "8,000 hour battery life" but their website says 50K hours.

I think it’s more like 125
