That’s pretty remarkable. I didn’t expect it to be on after being frozen. The brown in the ice could be grease from the bottom of the unit or from the screw holes
I just bought this recently cuz I just started edc and wanted to get something to try and get used to before I go and spend money on a holosun or vortex. I will have to say, I don’t even want those anymore because this cyelee is one dependable and just as good as those high dollar ones. And if it could withstand your torture test then hellllll it is worth every dollar.
This Optic is currently available from a reputable ebay seller for $148. I just purchased one earlier today. Where did the water come out of? Impurities are more obvious in ice. Not to sound critical, but the drop test is useless unless it is mounted to a gun due to the incresed weight of up to 60+ times with a loaded mag. Also, thats not a dog. I do have something NEW coming in to Review, that is RDS ready...would like to review an RDS on it, but I am too lazy to swap optics and re-zero etc would like to T&E something new.
gotta make sure you press both buttons exact same time, I bought the Wolf Pro and took me 3 tries to get the lock, if your off by even a quarter second won't engage, just hard to get em both withou the right grip because of the button pressure to get it to activate
A potential reason why the buttons weren’t working could have been the Lockout mode the Pro series has that locks the buttons. That may have been activated during the freezing of the water.
Great beginnings of a test, how's the zero shift after: frozen, high temp, drops, 500rds, 1000rds, 1500rds, 2000rds,(or a full year of USPSA matches)? Keep us posted.
@@ronandt9913 I'd love to. But I'm not the who has the video of a "true torture test", which has nothing of what I mentioned/suggested. So would that make the video advertised falsely or just another clickbait? Just hoping for a better "torture test" or proof before I plunk my cash down.

I have many other optics that have passes the long term test and have still shit the bed way later on..these are big name optics as well. Maybe you should subscribe and go watch many of my 2+ year review follow ups!

By the way, some of them high level USPSA guys put an average of 20,000rds or more, per year through their equipment. Without requiring a box of tissues...Just saying... BTW Just checked Lucky Gunner, $1200 could get you 5000rds of 124gr 9mm FWIW. But, you do you big guy.

Ok you had me at submerged in water on the chat. I was trying to figure out how to mount the thing in a cup of water. Problem solved Freeze it! Seriously that is probably what most optics have to endure. Cold and Wet. How much heat will it take?

you had the it lock where you can't turn it up and down if you hold the buttons together for 3 seconds it locks it
Apparently when it froze in the water, the Ice had compressed into the buttons & locked it. Still works great.
