They made a prototype and then cancelled the project because humans cant withstand that kind of G's. There's a "documentary" on RUclips somewhere about this car.
This car could "theoretically" have 10 tonnes (10'000Kg) pull down on it from the aerodynamics said the engineer who "engineered" this car for Gran Turismo 5. 10 tonnes, the car would be virtually glued to the ground .
For those do don't know, RedBull X2010 is a car that is made without any rules. It's what a car could be with all possible technologies to make it faster, drawn by Adrian Newey. In reality there is no driver with such reflexes and enough strength to play with the G-forces this car gives, but in a game, theoretical car become reality.
Imagine that kind of G-force around the corner at 300 km/h. Let's do some quick math. velocity; v = 86.7 m/s @ radius; r = 100 m, acceleration; a = v^2 / r, = 75.17 m/s^2 (around 7.5+g) The driver must have exotic reinforced bones. You instinctively own the track, dude.
I remember when I used to play this back in 2012 and I was barely able to drive the Peugeot 908 because of how fast it went and now I see for the first time someone driving this car... This is insane

And one particular small hatchback [that made a vague attempt to appear sporty] featured in a TopGear episode at some point... They were invented because it humans can't change gear fast enough, and automatics can't choose when to change. So these are the compromise. Consider it the semi-automatic of days gone by, but with the controls moved to the wheel.

back in the days i was so hyped to get this car and drive it even though i had zero chances mastering it. looking at it now just makes me think why they added this it just feels so way out of realism haha
The truth is that I love that car even though I thought it had the speed of the video in 2.0 but it had it in 1.0 and it is because that car is an F 22 Raptor with car wheels
