A lot of interesting techniques and processes. Careful where you apply weather effects, too heavy is not good. Tanks are the home of a crew and they are scrambling all over that vehicle doing PMCS and loaded supplies an fueling. Their activities disturb the effects of weather and actually tell a story about their activities. I know that how? 26 years as an armor officer in the US Army. You are good and you will get better. Best of luck, Ed
Cheers for advice. I tend to only heavily weather eastern front stuff. The mistake I made on this build was was not applying a matt coat, so it comes across a bit dark. Am doing an M4 with deep wading scratch built. Should post a how to vid soon. All the best.
Just got done watching the Sherman video. And man what a beautiful job you did! I love watching your videos I hope to see a diorama in the future for that work of art.
Thats great to hear, appreciate the comment. It took a bit to finish this one off. I did a little bit of experimenting by bringing together a number of techniques. I have another 2 Shermans part built, a Pacific USMC and a M4 with scratch built deep wading d day one. Cheers again.
Just started rewatching this, in the beginning when you started preshading the model has this textured look, how'd you do that? Is there another video showing that?
Hi, it is probably part of the kit, moulded to look like a casting. I didn’t do anything to produce a textured look. I’ve posted another M4 deep water sherman too last month. Hope it helps
Hi thanks for watching. I tend to buy cheap ones from amazon for £20 or so. It may be a Fengda that I think I broke. If it is you can adjust the air pressure on it too. Hope you like my channel, I have 2 other 1/35 Sherman videos too if interested. 👍
Amazing work
Hopefully some techniques in the video that will help. Thanks for watching my stuff.🇬🇧

Isn’t that too thick for pre shading?
Thanks for watching and comment, I guess it just depends on the end result. I haven’t watched in a bit but have post another M4 vid since then. 👍
What does the hair spray do?
Hi it reacts with water and paint on it is removed. Hope it helps
what make were the tracks mate?
Just out of the box nothing special mate
when you spraying claudy pattern the paint is to thick. You should dilute it. Claudy pattern it doesn't look good.
Cheers thanks for feedback.👍
