I usually forget to create a panel larger than needed & have ended up disappointed. This is a good reminder. I love the look of white on white with a bit of glitter. Quite classy.
Your "Merry and Bright" card for sure brightened my day and made me feel "merry" to see how easily your awesome card came together, because . . . . well, the time is now to start making our Holiday cards
The monochrome, geometric theme is so pleasing and the silver sparkle gives it just the right punch. I love it! (Die Throwing! Who knew?). Thanks, Cathy 💕
Everything you do is beautiful! I'm so glad I found your videos, It's like your talking to us instead of just saying what your doing. I can't wait to try some of these!
I’m simple, shiny and monochromatic gray and silver, so I felt right at home ! You make me giggle and occasionally a garfsnort/guffaw. Your cards are wonderful. I’m newish to your channel but I’m getting to be a regular.
Lovely all around, the rubber stamp, the CAS greeting, and the silver!!! TFSHARING, Cathy…..I’m using a rubber stamp for the background of our Christmas cards this year, but without embossing. It’s in the MISTI, so I can stamp some each day. I really like this geometric snowflake. 💌
Ohhhh! Isn't that a good color, Diane? Right now, I have on the new Velvet Pouf from the Holiday release and it's AMAZING! I need to film a video today and use Villainous Potion!
On a side note. Whenever I am watching other card videos I find myself adding the BOOP when they put sequins on. Didn't even realize that I was doing it lol 😆
Well, my friend, I can guarantee that I'll be using this design with whatever background stamps and sentiments that I can find. How best can I acknowledge your design influence?
OMG that is brilliant that you just throw it to help get the die out! I’m going to try that, thanks! That is hilarious. I buy the $5 poster size metallic poster board card stock. Lasts forever and Super economical.
What a beautiful card! I agree with the white shadowing! Elevated the silver words! I cried laughing when you threw the die, hey I have been telling my hubby that I craft to destress. Throwing dies can be a good way to destress! 😂
Beautiful card Cathy! I was wondering if you ever mix gold with silver? By that I mean make your greeting (die cut words) gold with that silver embossed background or vice versa.
I was wondering why I hadn’t been alerted to this video and then I just noticed I wasn’t subscribed! What?! I’ve been watching you for weeks now and I guess I never hit the button. Well, that’s been fixed!
Cathy, I love how elegant this card looks! I totally had to copy Chris D at our crafting weekend and make her version in gold, which was inspired by you. Love. Your. Style. Always!
I am a big fan of your creativity and appreciate the tongue in cheek always. I was curious today about the “NEW MAGNET DIE HOLDERS” from where? Just interested in resources out there. Keep them coming Cathy!
A seriously fancy card! Love it. Your nails look amazing, as always. Congratulations to your daughter! What an exciting day for you and your family! Look forward to your next card sesh 👉
Beautiful, simple card. I recently bought a rubber stamp - not SSS though, but when I try to remove the plastic sheet off the stamp, the words - showing what the stamp is, peels off too. Any suggestions on how I can use the stamp without peeling off the plastic sheet?
What a beautiful card, Cathy. The silver is just perfect. I've tried tossing my die to release the card stock and it didn't work. Guess I didn't toss it hard enough.
Cathy how often do you change your nail polish? I just wondered because every video I watch it's different! 😂 This card is beautiful and I did catch your tip about going Bigger so you can crop it down, I was saying (to myself) What a waste of ink & embossing powder. I've wondered why Gina does this also and now I Know! I'm working on getting better at lining up my pieces but I'm afraid I have a long way to go! hahaha tfs 💙
Cheri, I probably paint on average once or twice a week BUT… sometimes I film videos out of order for when I actually post them! lol. This was filmed about three or four weeks ago, but I had it scheduled for today. So sometimes It seems like my polish is always changing. :)
I have ten in mine currently. I would guess it could hold more, but not a thicker stack, if that makes sense. I am planning on using this for my Simon packs, which usually come in packages of ten, both for their specialty and regular card stock. I don't think i will use them for my Gina K. Designs cardstock, because those come in higher amounts.
When you're not getting good coverage on your stamp or it feels slightly less 'sticky' when you're using it...it probably can do with a top up. Get a Re-inker...as long as your stamp pad isn't damaged/frayed badly etc. you can re-fill it. They'll last for years!

Beautiful and stunning! Silver is wonderful for Christmas.

I use a restaurant size coffee filter for my embossing powers
Beautiful 😍
Love! Ordering!
Love the card. It looks very elegant!
Beautiful card! One of the best tips ever; create a larger panel and then crop, this has been so helpful for me! Thanks Cathy❤️
Glad it was helpful!
Beautiful!!
Thank you! 😊
A very “Cathy” card, gorgeous, simple and elegant. Stunning!
This would be beautiful in every color!!!
What a great christmas card idea....love it !!
Beautiful card. Have you ever tried embossing on either shiny or matte silver card stock with silver embossing powder - that is stunning also
No, but I will!
I really love this Cathy!! Simple and elegant and duplicatable!! Thanks so much!!
On a side note. Whenever I am watching other card videos I find myself adding the BOOP when they put sequins on. Didn't even realize that I was doing it lol 😆

Awesome tip on that poster board!
@@czdesign If you have a Hobby Lobby it’s usually on the back wall of the art department. They have metallic gold and silver.
What a beautiful card! I agree with the white shadowing! Elevated the silver words! I cried laughing when you threw the die, hey I have been telling my hubby that I craft to destress. Throwing dies can be a good way to destress! 😂
Right?
Simple and beautiful! I love the card…and I’ve got both the stamp and dies, so…….🥰🤗😂
Beautiful card Cathy! I was wondering if you ever mix gold with silver? By that I mean make your greeting (die cut words) gold with that silver embossed background or vice versa.
Not usually. Not that it can't be done! But I like keeping single metal tones.
This is a beautiful, festive card! Love it!
Thanks so much!
This is a simple but yet stunning card. Wow

Yes, they are linked below in the supplies.
You need a curious kitty to find those missing dies, mine is fascinated with anything he can carry in his mouth!🤣😹
When my daughter was still living at home, she found them like that! She's got an eagle eye!
A seriously fancy card! Love it.
Your nails look amazing, as always.
Congratulations to your daughter! What an exciting day for you and your family! Look forward to your next card sesh 👉
Thanks, it was a big day! She also bought a car today, too. BIG day.
Beautiful, simple card.
I recently bought a rubber stamp - not SSS though, but when I try to remove the plastic sheet off the stamp, the words - showing what the stamp is, peels off too. Any suggestions on how I can use the stamp without peeling off the plastic sheet?
Hmmm. I do not! It would be hard for it to cling to a block.
What a beautiful card, Cathy. The silver is just perfect. I've tried tossing my die to release the card stock and it didn't work. Guess I didn't toss it hard enough.
Sometimes I have to whack it down several times and it still won't release!
Cathy how often do you change your nail polish? How many sheets will the card stock sleeves hold?
I have ten in mine currently. I would guess it could hold more, but not a thicker stack, if that makes sense. I am planning on using this for my Simon packs, which usually come in packages of ten, both for their specialty and regular card stock.
I don't think i will use them for my Gina K. Designs cardstock, because those come in higher amounts.
@@czdesign Thank you. It was hard to tell by the pics and vids if they held more than one or two.
Cathy, when you stack your die cuts, do you use 110# or 80# card stock?
Also for the panels? 110 or 80?
I usually use 110 for almost everything. I use 80 for dry embossing!
Just wondering how you know when your versa mark needs to be re-inked…And do you re-ink or just purchase a brand new one?
When you're not getting good coverage on your stamp or it feels slightly less 'sticky' when you're using it...it probably can do with a top up. Get a Re-inker...as long as your stamp pad isn't damaged/frayed badly etc. you can re-fill it. They'll last for years!
@@MsAliemm Thanks so much! I guess there's no harm in 'topping it up' if I have any doubts....
Yes! I agree with Alison!
I literally burst out laughing when out of nowhere you threw your “Merry and Bright” die.
I love the fine art of Die Throwing. Sometimes it doesn't work but oh, when it does, it's glorious.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
