The WBC is a tournament created by the Major League Secretariat to promote baseball. Basically, the U.S. needs to do well to increase the effect of hosting the Games.
However, this time, the dignity of the competition was lowered too openly. I changed the schedule and opponent of the semi-finals using the broadcasting schedule as an excuse. According to the original tournament rules, the U.S. had to face Japan in the semifinals. However, as if they were worried about the scenario of meeting Japan and being eliminated in the semifinals, they abruptly changed their matchup to meet Cuba. The plan to go all the way to the finals seemed too obvious. How in the world can you change the rules that were set during the tournament? The championship failed, and the authority of the WBC of, by, and for the United States was lost. 🇺🇸👎
