I love the animation of the new version, but the music for the old one kicks ass. I especially remember the music in 2:14. It went so well with the actual movement of the ride

While the enhanced version is a MASSIVE improvement, the music for this one just kicks so much ass!!!

I love the animation on this version of the rider INSANELY more than now. This was always more nostalgic, I grew up with this version of the ride.
While I like it, if they kept this animation, then it wouldn’t have aged very well at all

Yeah I think its just down to preference, personally I like the older look better as it just reminds me of the comics more.
The new version is still fire . Probably one of the best rides ever made. I’m not saying that lightly

This was one of the best rides I've ever been on. I felt like I was in the middle of the animated TV show from the 90's. I loved that show and watched it religiously.

went on this when I was a kid and it was a mindblower!! the last part when you fall from the building and get saved by the web has always been imprinted in my memory and was a treat to watch it back after about 18 years!

this is most definitely one of the best rides I've ever ridden. the 3D is so life like and makes it feel like you're really falling off that building C: I'll never get tired of this ride!

I really don't get why they took that part out. It was something small that I still remember 10 years back that really made the ride feel badass. They could've easily kept it.
When I first went on the ride the music in that tunnel with the red lights scared me.

Definitely one of the best rides florida has to offer. Ive been on this so many times over the past 8 years and never tire of it, so good! i wish universal would release an official ride soundtrack cd for it though, love the guitars playing the theme tune throughout the ride!!!!

Never understood why Scream was chosen to be included since she's nowhere near as iconic as Venom or Carnage. Maybe it's just because those two just wouldn't ever be part of a team up like this?
In fact I didn't even know she was on this ride I knew about hydro man electro hobgoblin and doc ock but come on scream really?! Put venom or carnage in there

Because she's not in the ride a lot. She's only there for 2 small bits, and if that was Venom or Carnage people would FLIP
Venom and carnage are iconic so I think they wanted to represent them in a way that would make sense in a team up scenario
I loved this ride!!! It felt sooo realistic, especially when it went off the side of the building! The BEST simulation ride I've ever been on!

Best ride in Florida by a LONG shot. You can't help but grin all the way around. This ride right here is worth the price of admission alone, so kick ass!

I thought I was the only one who loved this original soundtrack ride. I honestly thought the ride footage was the only thing that was going to be changed & the audio untouched. Good to see I am not the only one.
I rode this 7 times when I went to Universal! Love it, it's amazing!
This is the best ride I've ever been on! Closely behind it is The Tower of Terror; they're almost tied actually. Freakin amazing!

According to some concept art, one of the other boys was originally going to be featured in this ride. And that was the Green Goblin.

Went to Disney this year for the second time in 8 years and this was still the most amazing ride there is at the park.You get so involved in ti its unreal!!

If Universal allowed Disney to put this ride in Disneyland, and Walt Disney Studios in Paris. I think Disney would use the Ultimate Spider-Man looks, and voices for the ride.
There is no way Disney could create a dark ride to compare to this

Joe Victor Disney can make some solid dark rides, but when this ride came out, it was record-breaking

This ride is MUCH better than Darkastle, the interaction between real life and the 3D screens is nonexsistant in Darkkastle but it's great here.
If you look closely at 3:08 you can see iron man on the billboard
the 3D effects on this ride are just amazing :D
This all sounds like so much fun but honestly just how many rides would you actually get to ride in a day? Knowing just how crowded this place can be, wouldn't the lines be like an hour long?

Universal has single rider lines, and there are JUST enough rides to perfectly fit a day, even when super busy! I know, I was there 2 days ago
The crowd levels all depend on which season you're going to be there for. Peak seasons are Christmas, Summer, and Spring Break but you can still get on all rides if you plan right. That means getting there as soon as or like 5 minutes after the park opens (cause it's darn near empty and you can get on at least 3 rides) or wait until after 5 pm (parking is cheaper then) because lots of families are leaving around that time. You can also use single rider but sometimes they don't have the single rider line open so you have to wait in the main line. You can also snag express passes so you can skip the line on all rides (but they're expensive as all heck). You can also try getting on the more popular rides (spiderman, hulk, both harry potter rides, mib, etc.) later on during fireworks because the lines are also non-existent and sometimes the employees let you rides multiple times in a row since no one is getting in line. But Universal and IOA are both very manageable in 1-2 days no matter the crowd level.

this is my favorite ride EVER! when me and my dad come here for the week, we have the express pass and we ride it like 10 times when we come into the park and 10 times when we leave lol

@@erichsummersthe one in Orlando, Florida is actually better than the one in Anaheim, California, one of my friends told me, because he went to Universal Studios Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World during Spring break this year, and he also said the universal studios in Orlando is better than the one in universal city, California, because it’s bigger, including Walt Disney world. Although, the universal studios and Disneyland in California (that’s what it’s called there in California) are still pretty good in my opinion. It’s a 20-30% chance my family and I will be going to Florida this summer break, so I got some information from my friend who went there this spring break.

I actually mustered up the courage to ride that ride when I was at Universal in October! I am NOT a thrill ride person, but it was pretty fun! Good thing I hadn't eaten anything recently, or it could have been a messy ride!! :)

The new version of the ride actually has two hidden ironmen billboards. one is on the screen and one is a giant prob that is easy to miss

This ride and the revenge of the mummy was the best rides i went on there in my opinion!
When I first went on this it was like an early PS2 game but the new one is so much better cause in this the graphics were a little off and the reason why the new graphics (the now one) looks better cause of the movements, better use but they should’ve kept the old soundtrack on the ride that music was pretty badass and nostalgic to me, I remember first going on this ride like in 2007 or 2009.
I had very low expectations for this ride but it was actually pretty cool.

I went on this ride, in 2004, on my high school senior class trip. This ride was awesome, it's the only ride that actually stands out in my memory. I wanna go back to Univeral Studios, just to ride it again!!!
It's similar to a roller coaster. It puts you in a dark series of rooms, with 3D screens that produce images made to look like extensions to the rooms (and it works well!) The ride is very cool, there isn't one like it anywhere but Universal!
Truly love this ride!! Went on it 6 times!! :D Twice in Japan and 4 times in Florida! There I could actually understand the dialogue! XD
I'm very glad Universal decided to refurbish this ride and not replace it with some other modern title.
I get that they have to keep newer generations interested, but thankfully, spider-man will be with us for a long time.
