Fun fact: the Kung fu panda ride was originally going to be a SpongeBob ride! With animatronics and would be a flume ride with a boat from the series but since SpongeBob wasn’t as popular as it once was so they made it with king fu panda since the 3rd movie was a box office hit and became what we see now.
The SpongeBob land that was planned for Universal Studios Beijing complete with the SpongeBob boat ride should come to fruition at the Universal Orlando Resort in a new area adjacent to Toon Lagoon at Islands of Adventure!
I remember riding the E.T. ride back in ‘92 as a little girl, my younger cousin and I were so amazed that E.T. knew OUR names! We definitely bragged about it 😂 such a great core memory.
I love that we get to experience new theme park places we probably would never get to travel to otherwise! Thank you always for your content about theme parks! ♡ And I love Phantom, never knew they did an attraction about that. Neat!
Man, what I wouldn't give to experience that Indominous Rex chasing after my ride vehicle. I always got goosebumps every time I rode the Jurassic Park ride in Hollywood prior to its JW edition at the final T-Rx drop. Put it on my bucket list!
It's only fitting that the world expo at the park is inspired by the New York state pavilion. In MIB 1 the New York fair was brought up as a reason for one of the towers having a flying space craft in it.
I remember riding the ET Adventure Ride even though I still haven’t watched ET and my mom pointed out Harry Potter hidden in the forest during the police chase scene 😅
you should do a video on six flags dark rides, past and present, heres some good examples Monster Mansion (SFOG) Tales of the Okefenokee (Defunct, ride is now monster mansion) Spee-Lunkers Cave (SFOT, Formerly defunct, now spee lunkers again but with a pirate theme) Hope you can do this request as a video someday!
I think one thing that puts universal above Disney is they actual seem to still give a damn like obviously they have had some blemishes but a lot of rides they open seem amazing
I rode the Cat in the Hat ride with my friend... twice (not in the same day). It needs a refurbishment... DESPERATELY! The animatronics are... disturbing...
Ain’t no way I love Singapore. My favorite was the revenge of the mummy. There was really coasters and so much fun. I’m so happy for them to tell the that I mess
I've watched a few and I think 1 that you should review/talk about Six flags over GA Monster Mansion. There is a marsh section that has trolls, goblins, and some large rat thing.
Is it me or the animatronics in the Madagascar and Kung fu panda boat ride looks a bit boring? They barely moves, their eyes almost never blinked which is weird. Sometimes, they move up and down.... that's it. Not very impressive 😐The backgrounds are amazing and the practical effects for smoke or water too but them... yikes! Not sure i will find the rides fun if i saw them.
I agree. I wish they put more effort into the movements but I don't know what company made them not do I know their budget. But they would make nice statues though
@@fastpassfacts Alright then! First off, I apologize for how lengthy this reply is. This is something I found out about from Dark Ride Database. Formerly located in Tokorozawa, Japan, The Great Dinosaur Expedition was a ride that doesn’t get the attention from dark ride enthusiasts that it deserves. Operating from 1993-2006, this indoor attraction contained a museum and activities related to dinosaurs. The main part of the attraction, however, was a boat ride that took guests through seven scenes, or ‘zones,’ depicting different moments from prehistory. Being a boat ride, there were various scenes and animatronics that could trigger submechanophobia, however by far the worst would have to be ‘Zone 5.’ What awaits riders in this scene? I could tell, but I think it would be more fun to surprise you! Watch the attached videos, then if you have any further questions, feel free to ask! P.S. Some of the animals in the ride would undoubtedly also qualify for a ‘scariest animatronics’ video, considering how intense they were, and how close they got to the boat! Overall, quite a hardcore ride for an educational attraction meant for children! ruclips.net/video/KbabgRD7wX4/видео.htmlsi=U79sbozI05enlS1V ruclips.net/video/A50TdximTcg/видео.htmlsi=z3kxRtL8e5e-C9Bw

@@fastpassfacts The Great Dinosaur Expedition was an attraction that doesn’t get anywhere near the attention from dark ride enthusiasts that it deserves! Formerly operating in Tokorozawa, Japan from 1993-2006, this boat ride had plenty of submechanophobia inducing animatronics, such as several prehistoric amphibians swimming through the water, or an Apatosaurus drinking from the same river your boat was travelling through. But the worst part when it came to submechanophobia was undoubtedly the fifth scene. Taking place in the Western Interior Seaway during the Late Cretaceous, the scene takes place at night, with mist coating the water. A lone Pteranodon flies through the sky as some Elasmosaurus stick their heads out of the water. Suddenly, you see one of those creatures splashing through the water next to your boat, its tail and fins briefly emerging from the depths. The Elasmosaurus then rears its head and neck out of the water, hissing angrily at the riders. To make matters worse, you then see a Mosasaurus, holding an ammonite in its mouth, rushing through the water directly towards your boat before diving back into the sea. The combination of the darkness, mist, and the sheer multitude of animatronics sticking out of the water, including a couple of fearsome predators having close calls with the boat your in, makes this prime submechanophobia nightmare fuel!

Kinda wish they made SpongeBob because I love that show.

Universal will not get rid of ET until a few years after Spielberg’s death.
I’m not a Jurassic park fan, but that ride looks crazy good
I got tickets for universal Studios. Thanks for the video! I'm definitely going on these rides

Are they ever gonna refurbish the cat in the hat with modern animatronics and effects ?
