My comment was factitious.
The reality is we have an entire society that caters to women. All of the jobs that men do, in aggregate, keep the system running. It's taken for granted. However, and somewhat of a caveat, there are some women (very few) who are exceptions to the rule.
A service to society debt should be paid in order to acquire the right to vote be it military service or law enforcement, others as well - men and women.
If you don't have any skin in the game, not sacrificing something for the betterment of society, no vote for you - male or female.
That woman has no idea what circular reasoning is. Unbelievably difficult to listen to her try and make an argument. No logical thinking
It's that simple; dumb people shouldn't be allowed to vote.

This strangely plays into the YPJ and YJA-Stars philosophy. These are the cultish left feminists of the PKK. Their belief is to end the patriarchy you must earn your place in it. The Patriarchy was earned in war, men earned it with their blood when weapons were about leverage and muscle. To be equal you must bleed, the difference is they have been walking their talk since 1979, they describe it as the "AK-47 is freedom." An example in the 4-month battle of Kobane 700 of the 2000 defenders were female. 323 of the nearly 1000 KIA were female one only 14 many 16 and 17 as all the girls in that years graduating class volunteered to fight against IS. Men suffered their heaviest casualties in the early stage, women suffered their most in the latter stage in the house to house fighting as IS was driven out of the town. In interviews they have no respect at all for western feminism saying it depends on men for their rights not their own actions. Kobane was the single most catastrophic defeat IS suffered up to 9000 of its fighters were killed there at least half by US Air B-2's the other half by the YPG/YPJ, this included both their highly skilled Chechen Brigades.

People seem to type “women” as singular a lot too. Is it autocorrect? I can’t figure that out.
It's def auto correct. The damn phones are doing corrective prediction based on its own suggestion and not what it should be or words that the person uses a lot. For example I would try to type in shot right... Completely spelled correctly and it would still autocorrect it to its suggestion of "shit".... 🤦
It is really dumb, but I think I have an explanation: What the idiots are doing is when they're saying "women", they're putting too much emphasis on the "o" which makes it impossible to correctly pronounce the "e", hence we get "WO-man." Typically saying women correctly, we do the opposite by not emphasising the "o" at all, so it goes "wi-men."
The most insufferable of all. Why should you be able to vote? Because you live here, but why? Because you live here.
The real best argument none of them ever make is "no taxation without representation", but then that demands a job. And also leads to arguments that higher tax brackets should have extra votes.
She wasn't informed enough about basic realities to have this discussion. 53% of people don't pay taxes. When I was in my early 20's 30+ years ago I would get money back from the gov't in the form of earned income tax credit because I earned less than the poverty line. So I would pay no taxes and then get a couple thousand in a check every spring. I did pay sales taxes but not on food, only on gas and toasters and smokes. I was a net payout for the gov't, yet I could still vote. She wasn't informed enough to even know this basic fact of our system. She didn''t even understand his explanation that she was making an IS claim, not an OUGHT claim. These conversations are tedious. Our education system is a horrific failure. The fact we give people without a basic level of knowledge a high school diploma is a massive indictment of our society. Letting them vote is just adding insult to injury.

We don't live in a "democratic Republic" or whatever tf she said. America is a Constitutional Republic in which all 50 states separately have agreed to a constitution granting rights to their people. This could be a reasonable argument, but she's too ignorant to understand it. We don't have the right to vote because we should, he have it because no taxation without representation is what the country was originally fighting for that lead to their sovereignty. It was land owners at first, and then as Andrew said, men and women all got the rights to vote over a span of around 50 years (Men because of the draft, and women because of bitching, but that's not relevant to the point). Now, if you want to know what he means when he says that not all people should be able to vote, look at the political track record of both parties since then. I don't know what the solution is, but I agree that something is wrong and we need a better system.
after 1965 all people had the write to vote!!! Andrew is not relevant about voting ..not all people should be able to vote!!! the Constitution gives you the rite to vote!!!
Women in ancient Rome could own property.
And in ancient Greece, and in ancient Egypt. And even in ancient China.
property rights for women in ancient Egypt, China, and Greece were often more accessible to elite women than to those of lower social status.
While women, in general, had the right to own and manage property, the extent and complexity of the property they could own were typically greater for elite women. Wealthy women and those from powerful families were more likely to engage in significant property transactions.
Property rights for women were generally limited across all social classes. However, elite women, especially those from noble families, had somewhat better opportunities to own personal property and manage estates, especially as widows. The rights of lower-class women were much more restricted.
Property rights were significantly restricted for most women, but elite women in certain regions, like Sparta, had relatively more rights to own and inherit property. In most city-states, including Athens, property rights for women were minimal, and any property they had typically came under the control of their male guardians.
While there were legal frameworks allowing women some property rights, these were more readily exercised by women of higher social status.
@nicholasgreen339 seems like you guys are ignoring the nuance of her argument. Seems to happen a lot.
Just like when they where going on about the United States not being a Democracy. It is.
There was a lot more straw maning from the hosts in this episode than normal.
@kathleenrobertpogue6818 literally the exact same thing was true for men as well, so you're being disingenuous by leaving that fact out. My point is women had the exact same chances of owning property that men did, as far back in human history as one can go. We're talking more than 3,000 years ago, and women STILL had property just like men did. We were little more than animals back then, yet women were STILL given the same right to own property that women were, just with different responsibilities attached to that right. Women were simply expected to submit to their husband's while men had to literally fight in any conflict and risk life, limb, and livelihood in order for their right to own property.
@kathleenrobertpogue6818 no. It is NOT a democracy. It's a republic. A democracy is ruled by the will of the majority, while a republic is ruled by a charter or a constitution. And what is the single most important document in American history? Is it not the constitution? The fact that you're using words you don't even know the actual meaning of means that you're just spouting political bullahit like the woke people in this clip were. Stop using buzzer words and use your fucking HEAD. THINK. Research. Stop parroting things you've heard and start using your own words. You clearly are so blinded by the brainwashing you've received that you don't even really know what is truth and what isn't. You saw people make factual, logical, and proven statements, and you said they were strawmaning. If that's not proof that you're seeing things through rose colored glasses, then I'm not sure what is. In short: you lack the faculties to see reality for what it truly is. So you're unable to participate in this thread until that changes. After all, if you can't even see reality for what it is, how am I supposed to expect a valid point from you? So, no, you are banned from any further participation here until you're able to actually contribute something constructive to the conversation.
She has no clue how the irs works.
Andrew is in the wrong here....his view on women not being able to vote is antiquated
To vote, you should be registered for selective service and pass a basic test on government structure (every 10 years). All these people who cannot name one country bordering the US have no business voting. It's also absurd that women want access to every job a man could have in the military, especially high ranking jobs, but shouldn't have to work in infantry. A constitutional republic/Democratic Republic is a form of democracy where the government operates within the framework of a written constitution. In this system, citizens elect representatives to make decisions on their behalf, ensuring that the government reflects the will of the people. While it's not a direct democracy where citizens directly vote on every issue, democratic principles such as free and fair elections, rule of law, and protection of individual rights are upheld. Thus, while a constitutional republic may not have direct democracy features, it remains fundamentally rooted in democratic ideals and governance.
While there may be a distinction between a constitutional republic and a direct democracy, it's important to recognize that the term 'democracy' is broad and encompasses various forms of government where the power ultimately resides with the people. In a constitutional republic, the government derives its authority from the people and is bound by the rule of law outlined in the constitution. Therefore, while it may not be a direct democracy where citizens vote on every issue, the United States is still fundamentally a democracy because citizens have the right to vote, elect representatives, and participate in the decision-making process. So, while we acknowledge the specific form of our government as a constitutional republic, it is still rooted in democratic principles.

She gave her whole argument up when she said she doesn’t care that most people vote off headlines (which is the absence of discernment) while 15 years old also don’t understand the dynamics of voting. Most people don’t understand what freedom essentially is especially in the way it was implemented in its origination. The founding father understood freedom wasn’t absent of morality. Most people these days don’t care about the morality tied to their actions unless it involves theft, or violence.
Love when he says “calm down lady”😂
Service guarantees citizenship, No one should be allowed to vote without serving in a front line position in a service position
voting should be way more restricted than it currently is

There isn't equal conservation. Just overtalking all the time. HOW IS THAT COMMUNICATION?
Men vote according to policy. Women generally vote according to gender. If a woman is running, women will vote for her just because she is a woman...
If a government has the right to take taxes out of my paycheck then I should be able to vote for people in those government seats.
Give women the right to vote, then kiss your nation goodbye. RIP, America 👍
Great Britain was a world power early on. Did they vote for their kings?
So Andrew, who decides who can vote? Why have a vote if only those who agree with you are able to vote? Keep smoking whatever you are having
Men.
@@DestructoDisk Why? Why not a random roll of dice? Why not go by if its raining on the day of the election? Why do *you* choose who votes?
Why when the conversations of the patriarchy arise, no one speaks of the Queens throughout history?
• Wu Zetian
• Queen Mary I (Bloody Mary)
• Ranavalona I
• Elizabeth Báthory
• Irma Grese
• Isabella of Castile
• Catherine de' Medici
• Agrippina the Younger
• Queen Razia Sultana
• Tzu-hsi (Empress Dowager Cixi)
That's just the top 10 most brutal
Every time Andrew makes a point she just moves the goalpost. Exhausting.
The person sharing the house is paying equal rent so they should have equal say? What if that person paying equal rent likes to start fires in the house at night while everyone else is asleep?
A 6 month old lives in the country. Should it be allowed to vote!??
Animals live in this country, should they be able to vote. Lmfao
The sad thing is, you actually think you said something.
I work in a male dominated industry. When we do get a female coworker, the men treat her like a queen and she gets her choice of assignments and promotions. Men want women around
Well that just as bad. Lets give them special treatment. Mabe she'll give me a popper out back later.
Dear God , please save us from these stupid 304s.
The vast majority of PEOPLE in history did not and/or could not own property
Black women have always had to work. Even after slavery
I started paying attention to and following police when I was 10 years old. Her argument is all opinion and feelings.
It’s impossible to have a conversation about facts with a person who starts every sentence with “ I think” lol
Centrist and independent. The only logical position.
