Would an in-line capacitor achieve the same result? Possibly better?

I have just added a inline capacitor to mine (focus mk4) seems to do the trick i used a 1000uf 25v capacitor

Do you know how I might be able to use one of these for the VLAND headlights on the 2is? I'm in Canada so I can't disable the DRL's using techstream

I pulled the high beam fuse to temporarily "fix" the issue (I don't really use high beams in the city anyways)

Nope. I’m Canada you’re SOL. You can do a relay to cut power to each bulb when lights are off. Then go back in when headlights are on incase of high beam.

Another awesome video uncle! For your GS I know you made a video using a program to turn off DRLs but is there any other way to disable them without a laptop? Thanks!

A relay to intercept the power or ground when car is on and light is off. When headlight are on, relay will switch and continue the circuit so you can use higher beam.

The issue I have found with these is that it does fix the flickering but it basically turns your DRL in to always on High Beams. I wish there was a better solution.

I bought exactly the one you are using in your Toyota for my ‘13 Camry and didn’t work, it start flashing faster and after 4 o 5 times doesn’t work anymore ….turn off the vehicle, crank it up again and the LED lights again 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
