Interesting. Have you tried offloading files from your device or laptop, to the iCloud? For example, when running low on SSD, taking 100Gb say and copying it up to the iCloud, then seeing that it’s safely there, delete it from your device? That’s really useful for valuable files like video or something, your own music on GarageBand, etc? Thanks for the info, take care all.

For example let's say I get a virus on my iPhone, that virus will be synced on my iCloud account, so the only thing I would have that wouldn't be encrypted would be the recent backup of the device... and I’ve noticed that iCloudPhotos isn’t a part of iCloud-backup.

@@laflakalynda Pictures do save on your device. If you turn on the optimisation feature photos and videos are stored on your device as a lower resolution copy while the original saves in iCloud. You can always see the hi-res originals by tapping the photo on the phone ( as long as you are connected to the internet). if you don't use the optimisation then all your pictures are stored in full res on your devices and in the cloud. Confusing, isn't it?
I’m on an ipad and I dont have an option for upgrade, i cant see that anywhere.

I already erase my data and changed it into mac os journaled since it still have HDD as internal storage, but it keep changing into APFS when it's done reinstall the mac os. How do I keep it from changing into APFS?

In my phone it doesn’t show me the plans option, it shows me only for 2TB, and when I want to show this plan it shows me the payment & shipping page!! and eventually it doesn’t work! And tried so many times!

When I try to purchase 50gb of storage it takes me to the page where I need to approve the transaction from my bank so I log into my bank approve the transaction then it takes me straight to the iTunes page not the page on Apple bill where I can press it’s been approved button

I want to transfer my data from 512 gb to iphone 14 pro max 128 gb so my data in 512 is high it is not transfering in 128gb if i subscribe icloud storage in 13 pro max 512 gb then would i be able to transfer my data in 14 pro max ?? Plz reply
