Really loving all these new 4in quads now that we have good props to use on them. I have been dreaming of long flight times with a sub250g craft ever since I started in FPV and 4in props seemed like the best compromise, but nothing suitable was available.

Would love a kwad with 28 mins flight time.we have the endurance you sent us but lipos very expensive.this is perfect size.we often do long range ish sessions with the groups.hoping one day we build towards purchasing dji just to show them the HD difference.they were lucky enough awhile ago to try orqa and instantly wanted them lol.maybe win the lotto one day.stay safe lee.
Can anybody help? I bought the croc baby4 with the new AIO (GEP-F7-35A) and accidentally wiped the CLI file. The GEPRC website download section only has the CLI for the old flight controller (F411). My croc came with the GEP-F7-35A (STM32F722RET6) and the factory website only has the F4 CLI dump. Does anybody else own this quad and can share the CLI file?
I really wish DJI would update their firmware so Betaflight OSD info was recorded in DVR. Searching for lost quads is so much easier if you can review video for coordinates. The buzzer on this definitely helps.
Short term solution is just don't turn off your googles, if the data disappears from the display just hit the back button (the one you can feel) and all the last data sent will pop back up on screen. Then just carrying a pen and paper in the flight bag to write those co-ordinates down is the solution.

how deep can you safely and routinely discharge Li ion batteries for long battery life? Is 3V too low? I'm disappointed that there is no current sensor in the Baby Croc HD, so I have to go by voltage, time and intuition.
A lot of these light micro long range have this subtle jitter and bobble when cruising, look at the horizon closely , more so if there's a touch of wind but no one mentioned it. I have one Dave C frame design built with Vista months before the brand name released their. I noted this and seen the same in many YT reviewer/user footage.
Excellent Video ZOHD LionPack 3000 mah for my geprc crocodile baby ....... I used to fly with 4s Lipo.... Do I have to make any change on my setup on (Betaflight or in the DJI fpv goggles) to get the Lion battery voltage reading ? I flue 1 time with the Lion pack and I get the low battery warning 5 minutes after take off. Thank you.

Would you say this exact quad flies better with 3S 18650 instead of 4S 18650? Background: I am just trying to build the lightest O3 quad that easily flies for over 15 minutes for exploring on trips. Saw all the 4" LR Models but all seem to recommend 4S instead of 3S. (3S is minimum to have enough voltage for O3..). I though the extra 50g make it more sluggish. (I know +1 18650 is 15% more weight for 33% more voltage & energy, but then you could argue, get a 7" lol)

The only camera system I've found that upset a properly mounted GPS was the test camera from the ByteFrost test rig. If you mount the GPS sensibly I've never had an issue..

I just got the analog version and love it. It's a great step up from my Tinyhawk S. My only issue is the current sensor doesn't seem to work. It always reports the same value. Does yours work?

I canceled my Flywoo LR order and order the new GepRc Mini CROCDILE since they still don’t have the Flywoo in stock. I already have the 7 inch big brother CROC with the added DJI FPV system.
Directly from GEPRC they had them in stock when I ordered it . It’s on the way should take two weeks or longer to arrive. I would but one if you interested in one don’t wait. I am sure they will run out and you might be waiting a while . I had order a Flywoo LR and have been waiting months with no idea when it would so I canceled my order and order the Baby CROC. I already have the big brother the CROC7 with the DJI fpv system. Good luck. RcArtie
I'm thinking to cancel my Flywoo LR order too, not just because it's already 2 months I'm waiting with no estimated time of arrival but mainly because I saw that Flywoo LR has issues with GPS acquisition and VTX wiring. Do you have any suggestions about it ? Thanks in advance

Painless360 ok I got the Flywoo with DJI and there was an issue with softserial being used. A lot of people complaining about this issue, glad that Geprc doesn’t have this problem might be a great selling point for them 👍🏻

Hi Painless 360 I just looked at your video and I was really liking the Crocodile Baby 4in but I still fly analog and I just looked up the Baby 4in and I was thinking that I would use a AKK VTX and a Ratel starlight but then I seen the recommended parts it said that I needed it doesn't come with MOTORS. It comes with 1404 2750Kv motors. VTx and runcam nano 2 . Then u can replace vtx and fpv cam. I have akk fx2 ultimate waiting to go in explorer lr. And think either ratel or a Phoenix 4.
Nice review. How's the flight tune compared to the Flywoo explorer? The explorer tune is on point and buttery smooth. How do you thnk the Crocodile Baby 4 flies compared to the Flywoo Explorer? I know it's not for acro, but how's the acro feel when you feel like it doing some flippy floppys?
@@Painless360 Thanks for the reply Paineless. Actually not wanting full on acro, just asking how it handles it. My Flywoo explorer can do acro just fine. Obviously doesn't have the punch as my 5", but it's lighter, so you you compensate and acro accordingly. The Explorer handles acro just fine with those things in mind. To rephrase my question: How does the geprc baby crocodile handle flips, rolls, etc? Did you try any? Would love to see you do some in a video.

DJI meh...Liion cells however..work very well for loads up to about 15 amps. I have 21 minutes on my 7" source one DeadCat running 4s1p 18650 3000 mah cells. It's only drawing around 10 amps in cruising flight and they come down just warm to the touch...I get my loose cells from /www.18650batterystore.com

Why can't I set aux 5 for GPS on this Bcroc? Works on all my other quads. No AUX limits in CLI.
Does it just support 5 aux channels? Out of idea's..

I thought "RESET" in betaflight meant reset to factory... They should just call it "ERASE ALL"

I agree wholeheartedly. The option to save the telemetry data for playback and overlays when reviewing footage would be so helpful.. Happy flying

Or add subtitle overlay in player .. since the already record it on sd card
Robert Molnar subtitle overlay doesn't log GPs co-ordinates.

3v should be fine but I use 3.5-3.8v here and they seem happy.

Not with the DJI goggles, they use LHCP antennas by default.... (see previous answer)

Depends on average speed. If you assume 20mph that's 10 miles total. 5 miles each way.. Depends on how you fly and the current you draw..

Whats the lowest voltage you'd take that li-on battery to?
3.7v per cell.. LiIon packs can go lower but I like to treat them with a little care.. Happy flying
2.5v absolute minimum. 3.0v what it should bounce back to after unplugged.
