But you're missing the point, bayonetta has always been the jazz of action games. The amount of things you can do with bayonetta's arsenal is staggering. People are still coming up with some weird ass combos.

Take it from someone who has over 2,000 hours playing the first Bayonetta. I have 2,200 hours in DMC4 and I still can't do the goddamn Jump cancel properly.

The fact that those combos are more friendly only shows how awesome platinum games team is because other games try to give this feeling of making cool stuff in game... but they are only glorified QTE (God of war im looking to you). In bayonetta all the great things she's doing im responsable for that, and i still have to execute those combos... Not only because i press triangle
TheDuckHunter DMC 4 is accessible aswell , I beat it till DMD without ever changing from SwordMaster during Dante's chapters. However , it required time and practice to become a complete BADASS at it , which I loved about it.

I might just be seeing things, but it REALLY looked like, during the Aluraune fight, he was using Umbran Climax mode without his magic decreasing!... Can someone explain how that's possible? What was he using?!
Hey there, the player is using a bracelet called climax brace 2 it allows bayonetta to have infinite witchtime/umbran climax without depleting the magic meter. To get it you have to have all 50 of the umbran tears then buy it from Rodin's shop but be warned. It's a really hard list of achievements to accomplish from unlocking all the tarot cards in tag team climax, beating the game on infinite climax, getting platinum on all the levels, to beating Rodin himself. At least theres only 50 when bayonetta one had 101 to do. But my question is does equipping it ruin the score at the end of the game? and can it be used in umbran climax

Good to see some of the "next gen" games to be more gameplay wise rather than a clusterfucks of "good" graphics. I'd looooove to do quest's like that than go running around looking for some shitass AI to beat up.
Combo matters if you care about score, finishing combos means more than juggling and stylishness, but you can definitely do stylish combos and tricks and get a good combo at the end

They made combos harder in 2. Without witch time, a lot of the enemies have combo breakers.
