We have this exact same machine... thanks for this vid! Had to replace our sensors. How do you properly do a clean/clean cycle/descale on it? We do clean ours, but no idea if we are doing it correctly.
We are only open through the summer so we don't have as much scale build up but I typically use CLR and then rinse everything down really well and then discard 4-6 batches of ice.
Im a ref tech. I just worked on this type of unit a week ago. Its an oldie. Wish i saw this video then. I see on your channel you have to know a lil bit about alot.
It’s had a bunch of work done to it this summer and it still isn’t working. It’s shut down for the winter so I’ll figure out what’s wrong in the spring. The longer I do this job the more I learn.
Just had this issue today same thing controller would say my bin is full even though it wasn’t pulled that sensor out and cleaned it wiped it down put it back in reset power controller and it reset was able too set it too freeze mode and ice maker stayed running before it would shut off 30 seconds after unit would go into freeze cycle
I would unplug the machine for 2-5 minutes and then plug it back in to reset the system. The sensors also need to be put back in place other wise it will still read as full.
Wish I woulda seen this video before woulda helped a lot lol thanks for the content 👍🏻
Make a video of this ice machine being cleaned. I have the same one. I’m just not used to the Scotsman.

How long does it take to make ice?
Sorry Frank, it usually takes 6-8 hours to make a full bin of ice.
All these years I have been cleaning them the wrong way. Thanks
How we’re you cleaning them? Glad I could help.
Hi What model of scot ice maker is this?
Looks like HTB555 with a CM3 controller...
@@BlackRiverLodgeMichigan Thank You 🙂👍
I'm having these same issues I've cleaned the sensor but the light is still on
Thanks for reaching out on Instagram for a quicker response. Hope you got it working.
I try this method but the bin full sensor still on, is there anyway i can reset the sensor?

So did that fix it M Ranger sir.
Yes I fixed it, I should have gone back and showed the bin full.
Those bristles are worse then getting shots! Especially when they go under the nails.
They didn’t go under my nail but I pokes my self a few times. You would think I’d learn my lesson after the first time haha
