Honda ADV also make a 350cc which would be much better for your height. The ADV 160 will be too low and your legs might cramp. Perhaps a test ride for 2 hrs will help you decide.
Seems like this will be my first and main bike when i move to the phillipines. The price is pretty good and havent heard any bad things about it. Keep hearing its worth the money. Im american so naturally a little bigger than most Filipinos and in need of a larger bike for more comfort.
I just got mine last week. The 'A' with a rotate symbol in green color is actually an 'Auto Start-Stop' function. The switch is on the right handle. You can turn it off if you need to. The traction control also can be turned off via menu. Fuel consumption is superbly low. But you can feel a bit rattle on the floorboard if you go 80-90 kmh. Maybe its the CVT. Ride safe!.
When I lived in Asia, I rode the Honda PCX a lot. Now that I am back in the States, I miss it. Scooters aren’t as popular here, so they are harder to find… but I found a place near me, and am about to buy one. I did look at the Honda ADV160 as well, but in the end, I just prefer the look of the PCX more. Both great scooters, with great gas mileage, for a great price! I only wish the US got the idle start/stop feature but alas we aren’t as lucky.
Appreciate the full review of ADV 160, great video/great scooter. Quick questions: 1. Is insurance required on the scooter in Cambodia? 2. Do you renew the tag for the scooter every year, or is there any type of annual fee for ownership of scooter? 3. Also, if you own property in Cambodia are there annual taxes or any type of property ownership fees? Thank you.
Wow the color variant of the ADV 160 that you have is NCX Honda exclusive, i do believe that is released in Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar. I hope this triple black variant will be offered in the Philippines, so sleek. 🔥
Very nice video thank you ! Will we get it in Europe ? The 160cc version We already have the 350cc and 750cc But I would like something 160cc that can overtake if you know that would help have a nice day my friend from Greece!
In Thailand I paid 2.000 dollars my 2023 Honda 160 same like yours the money you paid for that bike you can get it for 350 which is the bigger version scooter
Looks good to me. Also saw what seems to be a good review on the Honda’s XR150L, under $3k in the US, I understand, and Dual, for off road as well. I do like the storage under your seat though. I also think your mileage is a little better than this one. Thanks for the review.
I own both the ADV 150 and the XR 150. The ADV 150 is hands down faster and more dependable because of fuel injection. The XR 150 is super fun and if you like off road it would be the way to go. They both are awesome little bikes, ether would be a good choice.
Thank you for the review in English. These are $3,000 in Philippines, and $4,500 in USA. I will probably get the Click 160 in Philippines. Here's another English review of ADV 160 vs Click 160 ruclips.net/video/O4NgaDr8rpY/видео.html
I am confused and need to do some more research. First, Honda dealerships here in Phnom Penh led me to believe that the 2023 model is 150 cc. Later I was told that the 2023 model here indeed is 160 cc, but didn't have those upgrades yet (more powerful engine, 4 valves not 2, 30 liter underseat storage, higher windscreen, etc.) that are meant to be on the 2024 model according to Honda Japan. Then just yesterday I heard from another YTer that the 2024 model IS available here with all the upgrades (he bought his at a Honda dealership in Siem Reap). Do you have the specs for the model you have? Are you able to send me a link to it or post it here? Does it indeed have the more powerful 4 valve (not 2 valve) esp+ engine that is the same as in the 2024 model? Adjustable windscreen, 2 more liters underseat storage (30 liters total)? Need to get to the bottom of this mystery!
Honda is ridiculous with the idle stop function, its not good on this small a cc bike makes no sense, i truly planning on getting adv 160 in a couple months, i really don't think so now, likely go with Yamaha zuma or maybe xmax 300 ,but i really don't want xmax because the price, its a good price, i just don't want that kind of commitment now, Really wish honda didn't do that nonsense
I agree, I think they do that in Thailand because you sit at red lights for what seams like 5 minutes , you can’t get that option on the ones in America, probably because the red lights in America are 30 seconds at most
What color did ya get ?…. I like that blueish green color , but not the one with the captain America decals because a drunken rusky will probably tip it over
Question I’m 6ft 190 why did you go with adv vs PCX ? Trying to decide what one to buy. I’m in the Philippines
pcx no disc back break adv real comfort drive .. i love it..

I'm 80 years old now, I think I'll let you and Sophy ride motorbikes and I'll just watch.
So what other bike have you rode ? Have rode harley Davidson before? Just wanna know?
I am 78 and getting mine next week in Bangkok. I did have the adv 150 in 2021, still, careful careful
Is it more comfortable than the PCX? I have driven neither of them, but I am leaning towards buying a PCX. How is the SEAT on the ADV?
very comfortable
Ok, is it more comfortable than the PCX in your opinion if you have experience with the PCX? Much appreciated. Thanks@@jamesncooper
thanks for making a review in ENGLISH
Welcome!
You look and sound like Alfred Hitchcock
Such a very older style classic British accent. I'm not an expert though, I'm American.
Looking at this scooter here in the Philippines. Price here is around $3,000 usd
How tall are you, Sir? Love the design profile but concerned with me being 6'1" tall
178cm

top speed about 120 i think good power and light...
@@jamesncooper will it come to europe?
How does it handle the speed bumps, not that it matters because there is hardly any speed bumps in Thailand
fine nice balance

99 000 Bath in Thailand which equals to approx. 2 890 US$ according to the Honda Thai website.
expensive here..
Bought one here yesterday, Thailand, 103400 b
But the dealers will not sell you one for that. Expect 105 to 125k
Well done - good price@@russellprout723
@@philread7668 BS!
How fast in miles per hour does this vehicle go
117 KPH
I think 77mph
I found the difference in the 150cc and the 125cc to be significantly more power and torque on the 150.

bought july 2023 160 cc 4 value
@@jamesncooper So, as far as you know there is no 2024 version with upgrades? And, is your underseat storage 29 or 30 liters?
Sorry, I meant to write 28 or 30 liters...
$4900 with a 50% discount. You are taking this piss if you think that was the price with a 50% discount.
Thanks for sharing

no gloves. someone who never rode much
Too hot for gloves, and you would look a bit odd. No one wares gloves in the far east.
