My wife just recently purchased a 2024 adv 160 the more miles she puts on the stronger the motor seems to get it does about 70 tops seems to love 60mph having 4 valves makes a difference.
I go over to Thailand every winter , they had this same color on their 2024 model and it is definately my favorite color by far, I was over there in 2017 and rented a 2016 pcx 150 for a few months, it was so fun to ride I bought one when I got home and hardly ever road my Harley street glide again and ended up selling it , I still have the pcx 150 , last winter I was in Phuket and rented a Honda pcx 160 for three months and saw this blue color adv after I had signed the contract for the pcx rental, but this winter I plan on renting the adv 160, hopefully I can get the blue color. ,.. here in America they are $4,500.00 plus destination charge, over in Thailand they are 103,000 baht out the door which equivalent to right around $3000.00 usd depending on what the current exchange rate is ( a couple weeks ago it would have been $2800.00 ) I wish I could buy a new one there and take it home on the plane with me …lol, another thing that’s different over in Thailand is they have an extra switch on the handlebars that you can flip on and the motor will cut off when you come to a stop at a red light , and then all you have to do is twist the throttle and the motor starts right up and away ya go ( I think they have that because the red lights in Thailand are about four times longer than they are here ) .
LOL I'm actually in Bangkok Thailand right now watching this, if scooters are ever going to be catching on the United States they need to be for sale under $4,000. This ATV 160 should really be going for about $3,500.... like you said in Thailand there for sale for around $3,000.
The Yamaha xmax I drive has that engine feature. My gf's family has a handful of motorbikes, the adv is my favorite daily, the xmax for long distance. Drove the xmax, then drove the 150 pcx and it felt like a toy 😂

Very annoying. It is the same on every 160 I have ridden. Apart from that, it's a good runner round. Although Honda advertise it as a smooth and comfortable ride, yes it is a comfortable riding position but it's a long way from a smooth ride.
Gotta get the bigger motorbikes, when riding the 150cc pcx or the 125cc click both are rough compared to the 300cc xmax. But the adv 160 is my favorite, I like the xmax for long trips. If I where in the US I'd go with the xmax or something over 300cc... SE Asia I'd go adv.

Hi: I am almost 70, retired, living in the Philippines, from Seattle. I got a 2023 PCX 160 less than 2 years ago and put over 13,000 miles on it. In January 2025 I will get the ADV 160. The Philippine version of the ADV 160 has dual channel anti lock brakes and traction control. But it does not have a parking brake feature. ( ? ). In PH the dollar price is $3,000
@@jimw7916 Well, I guess I will find out in January or February when I buy the 2025 ADV model. For now I view the review videos for information. Often it is hard to get accurate information. And the Honda dealer's sales people usually know NOTHING! In late 2022 I ordered a Honda Click that was supposed to have all kinds of features, promised to me by the dealer. Well the adv is light and it’s great in traffic and it’s super fun. The Xmax is also very fun and has more power and speed. It all depends where you want to ride it.
I'm so torn between this and the Yamaha X-Max but I think I'm going with the X-Max because it has traction control and I really want that but this is still very nice though.
Correction. i had a black one. It got wrecked when I hit a Tesla. The insurance didn't cover the entire balance on the Octane loan so now I have to pay $450 before my dad will cosign a new one. (he said I could get a new one because he partly blames himself for the crash cuz I was using a helmet way to big for my head.)
It’s a nice ride but $4500 means around $6000 out the door with all the fees and that’s way too much for a 150 scooter imo, other markets get the same bikes with better spec for less $. Hence why I’m not buying one.

I was going to send you pictures of my ADV 160 to show you the stock rear disc but YT won't let me add a picture to this comment. My ADV was purchased and lives in the Philippines so maybe the Asian market gets the good stuff and North America does not. Crazy.
Purchased an ADV 160 in the Philippines - YES, the ADV 160 '23/'24 comes with front and rear disc but unlike the front wheel - the rear does not have ABS! Overall, the ADV is perfect in most conditions. The bike struggles on steep mountain sections during my ride from Iloilo to Cebu. Nevertheless, I love the ADV and it has allowed me to visit and explore many islands in the Philippines!
I have made the Iloilo (where I live) to Cebu City trip three times and yes in any steep section the bike struggles a bit but really nothing to worry about as most are very short. It's a 160 so to be expected but 98% of the time the bike is a trooper and I am 6' tall and 210lbs and often with my 85lb. gf. Great bike.

Gee....my 2023 ADV160 has rear disc brakes and I believe ABS on front and rear.....you are going backwards with a rear drum brake....I would never buy any type of vehicle with drum brakes...amazing. What I am interested in is the exact differences between last years model and this years. Something you don't address other than the seat height.
Only US models have rear drum brakes. A 2024 showroom adv had them when I went to go check them out last month.
I was going to send you pictures of my ADV 160 to show you the stock rear disc but YT won't let me add a picture to this comment. My ADV was purchased and lives in the Philippines so maybe the Asian market gets the good stuff and North America does not. Crazy.
You would have to send it to my email
Purchased an ADV 160 in the Philippines - YES, the ADV 160 '23/'24 comes with front and rear disc but unlike the front wheel - the rear does not have ABS! Overall, the ADV is perfect in most conditions. The bike struggles on steep mountain sections during my ride from Iloilo to Cebu. Nevertheless, I love the ADV and it has allowed me to visit and explore many islands in the Philippines!
@@nolylomigo3206 congratulations
I have made the Iloilo (where I live) to Cebu City trip three times and yes in any steep section the bike struggles a bit but really nothing to worry about as most are very short. It's a 160 so to be expected but 98% of the time the bike is a trooper and I am 6' tall and 210lbs and often with my 85lb. gf. Great bike.
I'm temporarily living in the Philippines. It's 2500 dollars in the Philippines.
I wish i could buy it at that price. The actual price is 170k pesos which is 2950 USD.
