Watching PointCrow burn up wooden crates with arrows inside, then running out of arrows later when he really needed them, was both infuriating and hilarious

One of the things I was happier about than I expected was that it transfers your horses from BOTW to TOTK
Yo what it does? That's insane though, how?
@@medicgaming6317i believe you either have to go to a stable and try to register a horse, or try to take one out. it also depends on you having a botw save file on the same switch ! if that doesn’t work then i do not know :\

One of the things I appreciate about ToTK is that all of the races actually have problems, and the problem isn't that a divine beast is circling around far enough from town for everything to be pretty normal.
In BoTW the only people who seemed to have problems were the Zora and the Gorons, and the problem wasn't even bad enough that they had to bunker down. In this game there is a palpable feeling of that something is very wrong as soon as you arrive.
I agree :)
However.. 😅
Medoh was shooting down the Rito that flew too high, which is a problem for a race meant to soar in the skies.
And Naboris was making dust storms and getting closer to civilization. The people of the desert need to utilize the land to get resources, so having a giant zappy stomper was a major hazard.
Once again I do agree and your comment reminded me of a funny mini-comic, so thank you :)
...now I'm thinking about the lore behind the Divine Beasts 😂 They were corrupted by Calamity Ganon, so if they were kinda stupid, it's canonically because Ganondorf's angry stink cloud was a bit daft lol.
I really like how TotK feels like the devs built off of BotW and made up for a lot of its mistakes 😁 (But BotW just feels like a beta and I have even less desire to play it more 😬)
Fr, like in totk ESPECIALLY in gerudo and zora, I noticed a Huge problem. The giant sandstorm in the desert is annoying, and the muck all around the zora domain and the brown water was rlly noticeable
Gerudo Town haunted me the most. Turning up to see just a ghost town was terrifying. I would say second most haunting was Rito Village. Absolutely horrifying to see the kids working the shops bc there were no adults around 😥

It was pretty funny watching him scavenge the ship for arrows durring the boss battle. I had already found the dive challenge, so all of my instincts said to dive through the ice and it worked in one dive. Doing the battle with dives meant I only needed to menu to heal, so the battle was pretty fast paced, diving through ice shards. All I could hear was that robot at challenge island telling me to have courage and just dive.
Considering this is 9 hours with bathroom breaks included, i dont think its the edited version, but i still wanna give the editors a shout out cuz it cant be easy live editing a 9 hour stream!
The difference between people who don't know or else aren't invested in the lore and PointCrow is insane. I saw Jacksepticeye's first video of his TOTK playthrough, and I don't think he was catching those subtle references. Almost makes me wish I had played all the previous games. so I knew the story and what everything meant.
I found someone in a different video commenting about wanting Ganondorf to have more backstory as some kind of former good guy or something, and I was so confused at his reasoning. Like, dude, Ganondorf NEVER has a good guy backstory. Now, he may be considered a hero by some of his people depending on the game’s setting, but Ganon ultimately craves power for himself alone and shouldn’t care at all about his own people’s well-being.
@@couragew6260 In a way I can kind of understand what that other person is getting at. They might be implying subtle differences between Demise and his hatred vs Ganondorf, in an effort to humanise the human version. The closest we got to a differentiation between the two is in a retroactive way in Wind Waker; if Ganondorf wasn’t the vessel for Demise’s curse, chances are that Hyrule wouldn’t end up in terrible shape as it always does; the reasoning for that Ganondorf’s takeover of Hyrule was because he (apparently) envied the lush environment of Hyrule compared to the harsh conditions of Gerudo desert, and he desired it for himself. So it makes you wonder why he would try to destroy that beauty once he’s gotten hold of it instead of securing and protecting it for himself. Demise is all about destruction, and it seems Ganondorf transforms into Ganon (the beast) whenever Demise’s curse overwhelms the Gerudo ‘vessel’s’ consciousness and sense of reasoning. Even before that complete takeover happens, there’s a chance that Demise is influencing Ganondorf’s actions to the point that his own motives becomes warped by Demise’s own goals.
It’s a bit of a weird theory of mine, but I can see why a ‘good’ Ganondorf might seem appealing. Not saying he would be an actual good guy, as a hero, it’s more like him being a more reasonable and multi dimensional character when he isn’t under Demise’s influence, instead of simply being the power hungry tyrant we tend to see. Wind Waker Ganondorf comes close to being his own person, since he pretty much threw Demise under the bus at the end of that game, he didn’t change into his demon beast form at all and went down feeling at peace with himself, implying that this Ganondorf freed himself of Demise’s influence.
That’s what separates Ganondorf from Link imo. Both of them could be perceived as vessels for two legendary souls, but whereas each Link possesses the courage of the hero while retaining his own sense of self, with Ganondorf it seems like Demise is directly influencing his actions most of the time while the Ganondorf part of him is suppressed.
The golden goddesses are reoccurring in Zelda games and their names are Din, Farore, and Nayru. When I saw the names of the dragons in botw I was like cool! Then in totk we learn about draconification and it makes me wonder lol
I 125% recommend playing the other legends!!! :D They are so amazing and being able to see and understand all the references makes the game at least 4x better 😊😁😄
@@a.j.cookie9735 i disagree. the whole "multi-dimensional, just misunderstood" take on villains is infesting every bloody franchise these days. it's an incredibly annoying trope. just plz have the classic evil villains stay in character. i don't want any more "subvertion of expectations" and retcons to make them "relatable".
i have never been under the impression that Ganondorf is "mind controlled" by different, i would go so far to say completely undermines his legacy as a villain if he's just a tool. it's like if it was suddenly revealed that Sheev Palpatine in Star Wars wasn't actually that evil after all, and that the "Darth Sidious" persona was actually just engineered into him by someone else.
besides this theory of "Demise influence" doesn't really make sense, since "Demise" technically doesn't exist anymore, it's just his hatred that lives on. Ganon/Ganondorf is an reincarnation of that hatred to the bone, it's not really equivalent to that of a possession. i would say it's more implied that if Demise hatred seized to reincarnate then there never would be born a Ganondorf in the first place.
I just love it how everybody solves the problems differently

Dude your video and Zelda content is such a treat for me, I just had to say I’m so glad someone else has the same thought of Zelda not sounding right in the blood moon!!! I think it may be foreshadowing x
aaahhh! thank you eric for streaming and thank you editors for editing and thank you to all the people behind the dotted bird!
Long-time vod frog but first time catching a stream! This was absolutely amazing and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's stream
Same
I tend to watch old streams to fall asleep to. I woke up the last few minutes of this one with the intention to watch the rest before waking up, only to realise, tulin is voiced by the same person ladybug is voiced by and now I will never unhear Tulin as ladybug.
I just wanted to say this to you thank you for make all of this great content and just wanted to thank you because you really showed me more to the game of BOTW and TOTK. Thank you some much and keep making great content.😊❤
my friends gonna help me port over totk this weekend and your streams are the only content im allowing myself until then for spoilers sake, im so excited!!
Sooo frigging cool! In love with this game and Crow's hilarious and fun gameplay XD
RIP Fredrerick (2023-2023) you'll always be remembered.
What I did for the rubble door in the wind temple was use ultrahand to fuse to the gear, move the gear in rotation, and then use recall to rotate it automatically and go through the door.
So cool that you saw the connection between lightroots and shrines after one shrine. And also that you can change map on the the mini map.
Loved this!
Watched the whole thing live
Tears of the Kingdom is one of the crazier Zelda games, if not the craziest, Nintendo has made. They gave the BotW UI a wild makeover and changed a lot, then made the story (that of which I know so far at least) great!
Also! The THIRTY HEARTS you get at the beginning of the game, along with the full three wheels of stamina? Gives good vibes for the future.
I just found you and I’m so excited by your excitement!! Haven’t played this yet! You’re so enjoyable to watch!! I started my Zelda journey with Ocarina of Time but loved loved loved, Majorca’s Mask too!! Just subscribed too!! You’re great!!

Hestu's dance is so cute and yet so cool!
VOD Frog here, literally played 3 hours in and just had to see your reaction to some of what I played through this game is literally SOOOO DAMN GREAT!!!!
Don't think I'm ever going to be able to catch any streams because of just how far ahead of me you are, but I can't wait to watch you play through what I have done so far
I'm honestly not surprised that the most watched part is where Purah comes in
Nintendo heard everything except us complaining about petting dogs.
I watched the entire stream, this was amazing!
awesome stream !! also RIP Fredrick, he will be missed
Seeing cht collectively lose their minds the second purah appears is just so beautiful
I don't understand how the bow lasts long enough to be passed down....only links weapons breaks.
I know nothing about the Zelda lore I’m just getting into it but watching point crow’s face is brilliant
I got this yesterday and I’m running to the rito tribe
This game is amazing I mean you can bond a door to your weapon for a weapon that can blow people back
The amount of combinations and secrets are insane
fun fact I was there for every minute of your playthrough and I still rewatch the whole thing over and over again :D
I can’t help but smile because I can watch pointcrow again since I completed totk
