Our hair is very similar and the biggest thing that has helped my "curls" are Curl Smith Curling Bond treatment and the Paul Mitchell super strong liquid spray leave in. I've purchased so many expensive products and these two have been right under my nose. Every week my curls get stronger and more springy.

Oooo I’ve heard good things about curlsmirh bond curl! I definitely want to give it a try, how many uses do you get out of it? As it’s slightly more expensive than olaplex

@@naturalnadinee I got it for $29 on Amazon. The consistency of the product allows it to spread easily over my head so I don't feel the need to use a lot. I believe I'll get at least 6-7 treatment out of one bottle.

@@lillyflower7501 Do you have high or low porosity hair?

@@Sabs_222 my hair has always displayed characteristics of High Porosity hair. I believe this is why my hair responds very well to protein as long as I don't go over board and balance it with moisture.

How often do you use the olaplex treatments a month?

Your hair is showing a difference in thickness since the heat damage. I see that in the shampooing of your hair.
