They make so much effort to make these look so neat and tidy, and yet the light connectors are the achilles heel. You would think they would put some r&d into hiding those connectors better.
nice video. i was following right along until i figured out that Moducase shipped me the wrong size back panels. Going to have to chop off about 2 inches for it to fit.
Great video. I just ordered a sixth wall combo with the sixth 165 so I ll def use this for reference. Question, are you able to fit a black series helmet in the sixth case?
Very helpful and informative video. I'm a little late to the party on this one, but I just bought some Max150s from a local collector. I find that the bottom shelf at ground level is not ideal for me, so I want to put them on risers. I see that Moducase offers Risers for their products, but even ordering now, I probably won't get them for at least a year. Do you know of something that I can put these Max150s on that would be large enough to support the weight? The foot print is 28 inches by 28 inches, and three MAX150s together are 84 inches long. I'm having a hard time finding something at a place like Ikea that is large enough (and more importantly sturdy enough) to support them. It's a lot more of a challenge than putting Detolfs on top of bookshelves, that's for sure.
Hey. Im not sure what else you could use other than maybe building your own? I would worry about the weight of the Maxx and what you're putting inside if you needed the extra strength for your collection.
Hey there, i saw u kept a Efx thor hammer in the display, is it safe to be kept in a sealed Dust free display? Wont it affect the leather?. I am not sure myself.
Great Video. My girlfriend and I have been looking into getting moducases. Couple questions. The plexiglass cover- the black border is only on the outside? Is it plastic or aluminum? We watched one of your older videos. OUCH! About your toe. Do you have a picture of the close up of what they used to look like without the lip? We were curious is all. And when speaking about upgrades with moducase. Do you think they added the plastic insert to make it more dustproof? Or to use a thinner plexiglass? Thanks so much!
hey! so I don't think they make them without the lip anymore ( and that's for the best lol ) But I can take a picture of the older model if you wanted. the black border for the front panel is all around inside and out, so its a frame with acrylic inside that goes on the front. the case was dust proof before the upgrades!
@@thecollector7347 Thanks so much. Were hoping to get a wall combo. Any advice about ordering the lights? Were going to get the strips but if we should run them in groups or on individual power sources?
Great video my friend, I currently have 3 df60s and they look wonderful I'm waiting for the sixth1603 set. I have a question, does the sixth 110 usually include 2 led bars or just one? In case it is only 1, do you think that 1 bar illuminates enough or do you recommend me to add one more bar per cube? set 1603 includes 3 sixth 110 1 s. 98 1 s. 55 Thank you!!!
hey! you will love those cases!! so mine came with 2 LED per 110. they do sell smaller and larger LED, so you could get away with 1 large LED or the 2 smaller LED :)

How durable or sturdy are moducases i’ve heard that they are pretty flimsy and can’t support weight on top I am trying to decide to either go with these or use garage shelving and adding acrylic panels to them
you would want to cut some wood to size ( or buy the one they offer online ) put it on the top and you're good to display stuff on top of them. I have done this myself
What are your thoughts on there weight limits? I am looking at getting a few Sixth98s and may go over their weight limit by like 5 pounds. Would that be to much?
Hello I have 8 DF60’s is it possible to connect those with this series? Also where do you get your risers? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find anything I like.
Sixth series and DF are different sizes, tho in theory you could join them, they wouldn't match so I wouldn't say you could / should The risers, I have 2 kinds. the Clear ones are from urline, and the black felt ones are from moducase
@@robsreviews8733 I did talk about that in a video. as they are, no. you need to put boards or " covers" on top of them. then you can place some items on top no problem

Thanks for making these videos. Would you recommend the Sixth110 or Sixth165 cases?
you're welcome.. I think it would depend on what it is you're putting in them, and how much space you have.
