Definitely ready to get things going. Hoping for good weather. Have a good one !!
Thanks for another great video Kip and family. It was most informative and interesting and enjoyable.
Wow. Lots to set up with your new GPS systems but you all are getting to it and I assume the others in the tractors with you were the brothers. Plus the technician from John Deere. Just takes a bit to get it going but once you get it set then you are off and running.
Good job done guys. Just got it done Kip and family.
Thanks for everything. You all take care.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Man Kip that is a lot of input on ones brain to try to remember!! the young man teaching has done a lot of training and hands on. Hope you enjoy your new equipment.
I can't wait to see this in action, during planting and harvesting.
You'll have to learn to map your fields ahead of time with your 4 wheeler. That is definitely the way to do it.
Love the moving parts on your videos. We are all going to learn so much.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO KIP 😊
Was John Deere the first to come out with this program?? Pretty awesome!!!! Can't wait to see u all planting!!!!❤️🙏🇺🇲
One thing that it might not hurt to ask a question on to your ams guy at John Deere and your agronomist is how well the planter will work with the field boundaries already marked on the display while using variable rate.
Being we use a 2630 display and 6000 globe on sf1, sometimes there's a shift on the satellites and we can't variable rate the seed on the outside of the boarder. So to eliminate that headache or question of what's going on with the planter on that outside round or perimeter swath, my dad quit doing a perimeter measurement.
With the tillage tractor and mower conditioner I'll do a perimeter measurement to either know how many acres are there or a premeasurement if that field is one of the last fields for seed. The surface water and mud varies enough from year to year over here, where we have a rough idea on acres but might vary from 0-6 units of corn difference
Very interesting video!!
Very cool Kip. Should save time and fuel. Great video
I purchase a 3 month subscription to upgrade from sf1 to sf3 for planting in the spring ,sf1 is accurate enough for fall tillage
I believe you can do an Offset to Move over like a Half Row if ya want to till over again!
GPS pays for its self by cutting down the fuel usage; as well as cutting down input waste.
🇫🇷 hi Kip . Is it yours 9560 R or a demo ? Great tractor and great video .. wow .. keep safe
As a fellow Michigander I’m curious, where are you located?
What does it cost per year ?
What does your dad think of all this technology ????
He likes it, going to take getting used to 👍
Wow is all I can say good luck
