Thanks for sharing this. You go at 100 miles an hour but its full of great content. For those who mention the metals and IOR are not there anymore, you can do this using the new Principled BSDF settings directly now.
With the newest kicad and blender you can export vrml from kicad, and import to blender, and it will include the board layers, as well as colors on 3d components. So most of the work is done. Just use the bsdf shader to make the pads metal by changing the assigned materials etc.
Hm, it is very fast for a beginner to understand what you are doing. :D Where can i find Metal Colors und IOR-Specular? :(
I keep coming back to this video over the last few months hoping something will click for me, and i'll just get it. every time, though, it feels like I'm missing an important step and just can't follow along without something being totally different than what's shown.
Youn really do understand what people expect from youtube videos!!!
Nice editing perspective of skipping tedious job.
i expected a tutorial, but i got ran over with all those steps lol
good to know it's possible to do tho, going to try this soon
I thank you a lot, my friend about this gold information this what I want to do it ,👍❤
