The Dacia Duster is now taking pre-orders in its home market of Romania. Consequently, the company has announced local prices (in Euros) for bi-fuel, petrol and hybrid models. And, in addition, colour choices and trims that should be available across Europe. The announced prices serve as an initial indication of pricing across Europe, with UK prices to follow before March.

Went to look at a 2024 diesel 1.5 yesterday. Look completely uninspiring. Salesmen said it was a cancelled customer order and that the strange grey/green colour was new to dacia. Also said it was prime stock and was asking full price and would offer no discount. I THANKED HIM FOR HIS TIME BUT JUST WALKED AWAY. Sorry, Dacia, but over 25 thousand for a discontinued someone else's car is just too much. I have bought 2 new dacias previously but as dacias are approaching or even surpassing premium car levels it's time to think again.

Will there be Hybrid 140 with 4x4 one day?

As the Duster shares its underpinnings and hybrid system with Renault products, it's unlikely for the foreseeable future. We do recall Renault having a fully electric 4 x 4 concept called Renault 4EVER, however. But that was full electric, not Hybrid. Yes, interesting that at 1:34 you can actually see the recycle logo. Not sure we'd like that on a new car, even if the intention is good!
