    Google is your best friend. I googled looking for a digital instruction thing (like 3d lego instructions kinda thing.) found your video, this is saving me rn. EDIT: My body snapped in half and the center console broke also...

    Just discovered your channel, thanks for the quality of your videos! This may be my favorite build out of the dozen or so I’ve made so far. But that steering wheel! I almost glued it on the column because I just hated the way the tabs fold whether you fold them in or out! Has anyone else noticed how terrible the 3D build is on the Metal Earth webpage?! It looks like a 5 year old put it together!

    • @WyzardsTower
      @WyzardsTower 3 года назад

      I've also noticed the build quality of the 360 degree views is pretty awful overall. Their tabs stick out all over the place! It seems like these should be done with much more care as they should be representative of just how awesome these models can look if they are done right.

      When it came out a lot of people disliked it mainly because of the engine and transmission. Also the car had no color. the only reason why people like it is because of back to the future. Which is why I think it would be cool if metal earth made the back to the future model

    I finally get the tools I need, get started & not even past the first three instructions, I have to use RUclips/Google. Turns out I was doing it wrong so I tried rebending to the proper angle & it snaps. I'll stick to Gunpla, at least that I can do.

    • @GrooveBuilders
      @GrooveBuilders  2 года назад

      Don’t give up just yet!! If you contact Metal Earth they will send you a new one.
      This is a harder model to start with but when your done I think you will see why so many love the hobby. Gunpla is great though. I’m trying to figure out which one to start with on the show

    • @diamondtron01
      @diamondtron01 2 года назад

      @@GrooveBuilders The HG model (easy mode of Gunpla) of the RX-78 Gundam is always a decent starter. But if you're already a decent builder, jump into RG models (medium difficulty)

    It’s impossible. For me at least. The parts are a pain in the a** to take out. Also very hard to put the pins inside the slots. I would love to finish it but I’m struggling way to much:(

    • @GrooveBuilders
      @GrooveBuilders  3 года назад +3

      Hey Jacob,
      This build can be very complicated. First if you break any piece, contact Metal Earth and they'll help you replace them. Their support team is super friendly.
      Second I recommend using a pair of nippers to help you take the pieces out of the sheets. If you don't have some around the home you could also use some cuticle cutters or nail clippers. I recognize not everyone has tools like I do but looking around your home to get some alternative is a good idea. Crayons, markers, wooden dowels, a spoon or maybe even some kind of statue that you might have that can be used for getting different odd shapes are great.
      Don't give up just yet. It's a hard model like I said but when your done your going to be so glad you didn't stop.
      I hope this helps :)

    For the steering column, part A 30, it rolls perfectly around a 3/64" inch bit. (Dremel)
    As for putting it on the steering wheel; !*?~💩

    Are cutters/tweezers necessary?

    • @GrooveBuilders
      @GrooveBuilders  2 года назад

      Yes,
      Nippers to cut the parts out and tweezers to form.
      You can you mail cutters and simple tweezers though :) also around your home you can find things to help get the right shapes too. Spoon, drill bit set, wood handles etc

    Would not recommend buying this unless you are very good with small models and have the right tools, mine randomly snapped right in half where it was bent. and since it's so small I cant glue it

      @GrooveBuilders  3 года назад

      That happens from time to time :s If you give metal earth a quick email they will help you out :) they have a great team.

      @@GrooveBuilders I was moving on to step 8 and the step 1 peice snapped because it bent back and forth to much, I tried to keep it from moving because I saw that coming but I didn't have the best working space so I'll probably try to fix it and find better tools. Honestly metal earth makes some cool stuff and your video was very helpful I was just a little annoyed thanks for the help!
