I applied for a few in the aerospace industry and they turned me down lol. There needs to be a crackdown on HR and the silly hiring practices that have been implemented to allow them to pretend they are doing tons of work.

Work at one of the largest manufacturers in the US. Stagnant wages for a dozen years, steadily rising health insurance (by our self insured company), reduction and then elimination of pensions for production workers but not executives. Now my company is lamenting the hemorrhaging of key production workers, thus slowing actual output. SMH.

I don't get out of bed for less than $25. But seriously, people have to manage and repair and program the robots and direct the AI. Been saying this for years, happened with the internet as well.

Maybe because the U.S. shipped those kinds of jobs to the far east over the past decades and the American worker remembers that?
