Got 2 quotes already for a trip of sand and are at 3,500 GHS and 3,800 GHS. Clearly, some of the important building materials are way expensive in Kumasi!
Am in Ghana building at Tutu on the Akuapim Ridge. Last week I bought a trip of sand for 3,500.00 and stones ( medium) for 3,600.00 . Surprisingly I got my Ghacem supercem for 98.00. Blocks were 8.50.
Thanks for your efforts. Watching from Germany. Last week I bought 32.5 R cement (savannah diamond cement ) in Upper East for 120 ghs per bag. 12 mm rod : 78ghs /unit 3/8 rod: 25 ghs/ unit
when building cement block fence walls around the compund, doesnt it make sense to embed the rebar for the pillars into the footing? if the rebar just rests on top of the footing, will the pillar be able to manage the weight of the wall?
A country called Ghana 🇬🇭,basically everything is just not working for the people, backward in everything and the people are suffering, everything is imported and imported and expensive 😢😢😢
