I have so much respect for you. Your lessons have taught me more functional skills than any other lesson I've ever watched. Thank you and please please never stop. Teach more stoner/dome riffs please.
Living in Seattle, this sound is so comforting to me and it just fits the gloomy, rainy, constant gray skies.
Your just hands down by far the most helpful guitar teacher for advanced guitar players. You really give great overview on all different genres involving eguitars
God damn, I just love seeing a Gibson SG
dude you are hands down the best guitar teacher on youtube.
Weirdly how this is exactly the new punkish/emo sound
I love watching your videos dude. When I'm stuck writing a new song and don't know where to go with it next, or even if im just bored and wanna be entertained and learn something, I turn to your lessons. You have shown me a few things here and there that have helped me sculpt my style even more. By the way, the Ambient Black Metal ones are my favorite. Keep up the good work.
just screams Dinosaur Jr.
yeah man I hear alot of that ! Love dinosaur JR :)
I get more song writing ideas from your videos than anything. wish we had the net when I started playing
It's certainly revolutionized the learning process, that's for sure.
Same story here...Thank you a lot Corey! I have no words...well... so appreciate
sounds like J mascis
Not only are these easy to follow and so exact in their methodology I love that a lot of the time just for fun you'll sometimes dress to match the music haha.
i feel like bob mould from husker du invented this style
Best lessons on RUclips. Hands down.
DAT beard! Looking good Sir! Great lesson.
sounds kinda old foo fighters to me
This one is really awsome! I was looking for noise stuff like this! Good job
I've been stuck for days man. This helped alot.
This reminded me of Sonic Youth and Husker Du
Obviously, the title of the video means so.
Cool lesson Corey. Got some spare time in the next couple of months, looking forward to going through some of your lessons. Love your variety.
Awesome vid. Really dig this kind of thing.
Would love to see more. Keep it up.
This is one of your best videos yet. Thank you!
i dont remember this lol
I love your videos. The stuff you show - this stuff, for instance - is at the exact level I most need and want, and for some reason it's kind of a hard level to find in books and lessons. I've learned so much chord voicing shit from you... please continue making videos. Thanks alot.
Please make a full song of it !! Wonderfull >.
This is rad!
Great lesson. Almost reminds me of the new Deafheaven album.
You rock dude
Great video.
thankyou gemini you are my ispiration saludps desde lima peru!!
Cool!:)
Liked that lesson.
btw. Already thought of making a tremolo picking lesson for black metal??
Epic :)
sounds like Jmacis
thanks from northkorea~♥
Wait, you can use the Internet in North Korea??
É o mesmo som do Gorduratrans 🇧🇷
What is in your sound other than the SG? I've always wondered. Your lessons are great, I'm just always curious what the amp is, or any effects in between? Or do you just go straight to computer?
I use a Line 6 Toneport, so the guitar runs straight into the computer. Really cheap to do, and sounds really good! Direct to computer really is the best option for those on a budget, and Line 6 make quality products with a variety of great stock sounds, which I use most of the time.
nice video!!! sounds great! reminds me Placebo
Hey Corey, which pack i need to buy to have a full lesson of this?
It's not in any of the packs, just a free lesson I uploaded. There is a Nice Noise pack available to purchase and a sample of that here on the channel. It's called Colouring the Progression. You'll find it in the Nice Noise playlist.
Very Dinosaur Jr-esque.
sounds more like pop punk, but I still love it :)
It's all music, after all. :D
+Corey Hunter True Dat
What are some songs that use this progression?
hey sorry if im just dumb and cant find it but could you please link me with the scale chart? thanks a ton man youre the best teacher on youtube
There's a chord chart and drum track available with the lesson over at my Patreon.
@@CoreyHunter oh awesome, thanks a ton i’ll definitely have to check out the patreon. thanks bro
I love Grunge, but you need to get stoned again and put up some more doom, stoner rock/metal lessons man. Keep up the great videos.
tuning?
is this in Drop D tuning?
No, it's in standard tuning.
Golden Number :v ?
Do some stoner lessons again
Me suena a emo
Cory you rip on this style as much as you are a perfect doom/stoner (and the rest) musician , man you should get a 7 or 9 string SPONSORSHIP, i am sure schecter or other manufacturers would give you a guitar man, you should hit em up man eh, BTW bought every thing of Gemeni, its very good material mate, your missing out all, if you dont get this stuff
sounds like deafheaven
welcome to the NO WANKER ZONE.
