I am JUST learning now that disability and illness has left me housebound almost all the time. My mom says I have always been a fantastic artist. I have never delved into anything to see what she means, although I did sketch and shade a few pretty amazinv sphere! (Figured I'd better learn the basics first!) This is definitely the dark kind of art that makes me want to do this more than anything! I have been a major fan of Clibe Narker my whole life but never a si-fi fan. Drawing inspiration and figuring out what to sketch, let alone paint is a daunting task. I have no idea if my mom is right or if she's just being mom saying mom things. Picking up a paintbrush terrifies me. But I can't wait!
Man I wish I had 10% of your creativity. All I can manage is copying things I see in photographs and not well in any case. I have 0 imagination and when I do think of something I cannot express it in art like you can. What a gift you have.

I overcomplicate my process too😔 and overwork as well to the point where both my wrists (I use both hands to draw and paint) need therapy and rest to recover. But that's ok, I spend time to watch some artist here and other platforms and thanks for sharing this 12 pieces. I like them all, and the music you have chosen too especially "Midnight Lover", because this piece is in one of my spinning working playlists...and yep! I totally understand your feelings about not having desire to workout some days, but to be honest I never skipped my workout schedule, I feel so guilty if I skip, that the next day I do 2 hours instead of 1 so, no skipping neather workouts not paintings schedules...my monsters are severe 😂😂😂. I never have my artwork hung up anywhere, but I do have sketches in sketchbooks that I like. I think I may compile them in PS and print them out. Just to keep them near me for inspiration. I always think I have to have finished work in order to hang it up, but I never finish anything 😅

you could also just put clear adhesive foil on top to protect the stickers you put on your palette. I don't remember if you showed that already but how do you make your stickers btw? If you use your own printer, do you have any recommendations over stickerpaper or what kind of printer you use (ink jet or laser)?
I'm in the market for a printer to start some of my own prints. I like that you can print out on larger paper. Do you get those printed at a store and/or do you have a printer that you recommend?

Nice to have a low stress project sometimes and stickers are always fun. I can't believe you cut them all out by hand!

Nice to have a low stress project sometimes and stickers are always fun. I can't believe you cut them all out by hand!
