Cruise ships have an obscenely high food poisoning rate because of the temperatures/food served in these buffet-style arrangements, left out for long periods, inadequate waste disposal and conditions in the kitchens. On other cruse lines the crew mess look like prison food, that looks good. Feeding your crew well keeps morale and health up which is good for everyone.
