Thanks for the video !Brandon re: door handles. Because the door is frameless the window goes into the roof to seal the door. The electric window needs a second to retract or the glass will yank on the rubber at the roof. If the handle was like a conventional one this could eventually damage the window. By pushing in on the handle with your thumb you see the window drop before you pull the door open thereby helping prevent this from happening. I have a Porsche convertible that I have to be careful with because if I pull open the door quickly the glass catches on the roof and I have had to fix the mechanism several times.
I got my Model 3 (2023) in May so I've owned it for a bit over a year now. Put 6500 miles on it, and have to say it's my favorite car I've owned for driving, ease of use, maintaining, etc. Tesla said to rotate tires ever 6000 miles when I took delivery, I have spent $80 in maintenance vs my old BMW M3 (New when I got it) I spent about $3800 my first year and over $12,000 in 3 years of ownership (Tires, Oil, Scheduled Maintenance, etc.) plus the gas probably was a good $7000 - $8000 in 3 years of driving, vs the Tesla I spend maybe $12 a week on charging so about $500 - $700 a year. Either way I prefer electric and I got $7500 back in tax credit - I'm not upside down on my car with a $7000 downpayment (Put the $7500 in as payments so I'm paid off for almost a year in advance but still make my monthly payments) and only $23,000 remaining in payments. I'm happy so far and typically I get buyers remorse on car purchases after 4 - 5 months seeing them drop in value on the used market.
Road trips: it's worth adding time for pit stops and refueling stops. I don't recall EVER gassing up and heading out immediately following two to three hours during a road trip. While the time delta will exist, I'd imagine real world results would be more like two hours.
Well my heart says new M3P red on white. But practicality dictates MY refreshed. Cash on hand says M3 LR I live on a ski hill that gets 25’ of snow so I think I need dual motor. Then there is used but here in BC people want as new price for used!
Great comprehensive review
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I love my 2023 model 3 and there’s no going back. Will continue to own teslas. Awesome awesome car.
I do get curious about Rivian once in a while.
Thanks for the info BT. Interesting but not sure if I’d get one just yet.
Right on

Super interesting and thank you! Good to hear the reason why it was designed this way!

Yeah it’s been a brilliant car so far!
I’m sticking with petrol, but definitely a cool video man. Glad it works out well for you!
Thank you!

Yeah there is going to be some discrepancy, but normally when I go somewhere I only stop when I absolutely have to and take no longer than it needs.
Thanks BT. Great content.
My pleasure!
Showing a Model 3 in detail like it's 2018 😉
Still great daily drivers though!
2018 - great year.
It’s been so long since I’ve had to get out of the car to switch it to 4WD, I completely forgot how much that sucked. lol
Those were the days.
Really nice video! You wear a gray Carhartt beanie that I really like! Can you please tell me the model name and the exact color? Thanks
Honestly no Clue. Just a grey one.
@@BrandonTalbot Ok, thanks!
Any reason u went with the model 3 vs Y?
We have 2 pretty big SUVs already, the model 3 was cheaper, and it’s usually just me in the car. So nothing bigger was needed
Can you drive 10 hours non-stop? You will need to take rest anyway.
Yes definitely.
Ps saving to buy a Tesla.
Which one?

Hahahahaha…. Good job. Nice MAGA Hat with 4 wheels. 😂😂😂
Just FYI - I can’t stand Trump. And i bought the car because it made the most sense and before I really knew too much about Elon who’s also a clown.
Don’t be so quick to judge someone - cause you couldn’t be further from the truth on this one.
