- In today’s video, I went on Etsy and purchase a 300 gallon saltwater or freshwater pond. This pond was a trick to build, but once done was amazing! I really don’t know what we want to put in here, I will need your help so come down below!!

You could make a Rockpool pond! Plenty of crabs, anemones, algae and small fish! This would look great from the floor and above.

You should make it a freshwater community pond. Will a bunch of small fish like tetras, angle fish, Corey cats, etc. and load it with plants
Cichlids, freshwater moray, fancy cory's, and a fancy smaller pleco. That's what you should put in there.
I suggest peacock cichlids only pond. Lake Victoria cichlids come in some crazy colors. Getting them young and growing out is fun to watch the colors change as they get older.
The new pond should be an archer fish pond with a tree or something hanging over it to put crickets on!

African cichlids with their beautiful colors would look so good in that pond 💜

I suggest: put Mollys, platys and guppy’s in the pond. Taking us back to the old Paul moments, would be very nostalgic 👌🏼

Perhaps something like an upgraded and interesting version.
Going with a cave theme and the blind cave tetras and similar things that could go with them. I keep wanting to do it, but it's hard to find enough of the cave fish for it and you need a few of them to get them comfortable

Hector is more like the dad you never knew you needed. He’s so knowledgeable when it comes to building. Wish I had a Hector out here on Kauai

ROCKPOOL POND!!! you make plenty of rockpool vids at the beach it would be so cool to have a pond full of all the creatures. crabs, seaweed, anemones, shrimp, octopus, ect. Would be so cool!

You haven’t had discus, they have crazy color and they are also beautiful when they school each other, and I think discus is one of the pretties and unique fishes

Either African Cichlid or Altum Angels with awesome plant setup along with ferts and nitrogen supply to keep them green
Paul I would make the table aquarium a full blown cichlid aquarium. So many bright colors, so many cichlid options. Or seahorses. I've commented so many times about you having seahorses.
Do guppies,mollys,plattys,and tetras for ur mini pond with many plants and bamboo with it!❤

you should put tetras in this new pond with an aquascape theme. having schools of them swimming would look awesome especially with the colours. don’t know if you would want that but it could be an idea!

When i saw this pond my mind went to... maybe... this is the time to start using live plants! it would make an awesome startup to grow plants and also have some interesting fish (the kind that doesnt destroy plants like African cichlids) Or maybe if you want to go salt water... theres 1 fish missing the mandarin fish! that pond with time could host something like that!

I’m late to this video unfortunately so I might have to wait for the next, but I think you should do a giant freshwater community in that pond. I have a 55 gallon tank with tetras, longfin plecos, a bumblebee cat, dojo loaches, clown loaches, a yoyo loach, a hoplo cat and a few others, but I was looking at that pond and thinking about how diverse you could truly make it. You haven’t done a freshwater community since the beginnings of the channel and it could be not only a blast from the past, but an amazingly diverse ecosystem. Maybe even with live plants🤔🤔

I think you should do a a freshwater set up with aqauscaping including fresh plants! Serpadesign does some incredible scapes something like that!!
Paul u should make it a goldfish pond and when there are to big put them in the koi pond and then get more like a cycle
Colorado sunburst nems because of the crazy colors with 2 radions above it to keep em happy and some black storm clowns to host them

I think it would be cool to grow out a couple of small koi in the new pond. They are so beautiful and would be nice to see them all the time. You could make them so friendly and interact with them swimming right into your hand.
Paul, make it a freshwater community pond with different livebearers, angels, mollys, plattys, guppies like how you started in your old backyard.
You Need to have african chiclids at the House
I have two ideas for fish…
1. Discus
2. Oscars

3. Angel fish. But you would need to break the rocks up into separate area and a piece of slate by each rock cropping. The fish could pair up and lay eggs. Would be cool. Then you could Cuffaro Angels!

Put a mangrove in the middle, make it brackish water, and add Archer Fish man!!!
They can be in fresh water or brackish (for the mangrove). Dude they're epic I had some and they'd literally snipe flies and mosquitos out of the air and would even shoot at me to be funny lol
A school of cichlids would be awesome for this new pond. However, in-keeping with the fish building theme of saltwater ponds, a coral pond would look awesome in it, just corals, and small colorful saltwater fishes

That pond is pretty small. I say feel it full of beautiful African Sicklids.
As the centerpiece put a Mangrove tree. It would be awesome if you see all the sickens swimming through the roots of the tree. You just need to hang the right kind of Light Fixture Above it so it doesn't die like your last one.

Make it a saltwater catch and keep pond that rotates stuff that you go catch in fish traps! That would be sick. Like just a tank you put stuff in that you think is cool that you may catch under bridges or in fish traps that you put in gutters(great video btw)

I think the rocks and cichlids with go really good with each other and I'm from South Africa and we have lots of colorful cichlids
Should do a bait/feeder pen with it for your salt ponds.

Since you got a reef tank in the house... A fish only aquarium and a predatory aquarium I think this would be great for a planted saltwater aquariums... You can have some really nice colourful macro algae with some nice chromis and a mixed lot of small fish... It would be really cool
Since you have a predatory and community salt water pond you should make this new pond a community freshwater pond !

What would be cool is a small water reef. You can see fish doing their thing. Clown fish will thrive. Those little ones that put their head under water. The crabs you will see them more. Can be a cool idea
You could make a Seahorse pond! With much seagrass and Rocks, i think this would Look nice
