Nice demo Morgan. It was good to see you work the tool and the camera angle showed how it steered as you guided it along. As normal Dylan captures the moment and calms any fears of those Rupes models.
@@sebster6031 wtf are you talking about? Forced da's only benefit is that it wont stall no matter what. I dont have any stalling problems with long throws. 15-21mm throw vs 5mm throw. And i tested this with various pads and polishes.
@@sebster6031if you cant cut faster with the long throw, then you just cant use it. Forced rotation is good for beginners who cant manage long throw. Long throw and rotary is all you need
@the rag company Sir kindly try to shed some light on Pneumatic Polishers. They are lightweight and thus I believe will be easier to work with because of less fatigue to labor. Kindly reply
Hi Whats the deal with forced rotation Flex machine 8 mm through, or 5.5 mm Makita ? Will it finnish perfectly fine with one step compound and no holograms every time / black / dark colours paintwork / both german and japanese paints or at least germans ? In hands of intermediate to advanced skilled da polisher person ? How much slower if at all 8mm / 5.5 mm forced rotation from Flex or Makita than 15mm through DA please ?
I have the Makita and only use on German and Japanese cars one is black. I can say this: It's a miracle machine. You can switch between forced rotation for correction and da for final finish if required. On our black Subaru I use direct drive, rupes yellow wool and TW one and done. This leaves light hazing and I finish on DA and TW Hybrid Ceramic black polish and wax. This looks amazing. Forced rotation with rupes yellow foam and TW one and done would work well too. The forced rotation negates the need for long throw and the Makita is smoother as a result.
Hey Rag Company. Do you only use lower speed settings on the Mille ? Cutting 3-4 and finish 2-3 ? On a LHR15 is only use two settings ... speed 2 to spread the polish and speed 6 to work with it.
On both machines we actually recommend priming at speed 1-2 and working at speed 3-4. Reserve speed 5-6 for when they’re needed, for example an isolated deeper defect or maintaining rotation (random orbital) in a deep curve or contour.
Hello I want to buy that polisher But I need more info Like how to used??? and a what number I should used for compounds or polishers??? I’m new and I want my old cars look like new
G'day Guys, like the video showing the difference between between geared and non-geared random orbital machines. Morgan your coming along leaps and bounds like a kangaroo with your detailing. It just happens your video co-insides on the same day and time basically with a video from AMMO NYC who explains with Kevin Brown the difference between the various polishing machines as well as demonstrate using LED lights in a foam pad the different patterns the different machine makes. Must watch along with your videos. Ozz
mille best at cutting/compounding lhr mark 3 da is the polishing/finishing beast i hope that helps you however if you only want to have one machine for both task you go with the mk3
If you're only going to own one polisher, I'd probably go with a Mille. No stall means you can effectively polish most areas and curves of an entire vehicle with a full size 5"+ pad and polisher. Mille can finish down beautifully, especially with its shorter stroke, and its constant pad rotation makes it effective to use at much lower speeds than a free spin.
It sounds like the Mille or just Gear Driven in general is everything of a DA but without all the cons so what’s the point of a DA lmfao Stalling on angles and contours is annoying There has to be a drawback right?

The nicest Pontiac hood in all of Idaho.
Is it suggested to use the Mille for cutting and the LHR15 MK III for finishing?
I don't find it to graby I love it cuts quickly
Truth is that while Mille is a good forced da, it lacks the cutting power of the 15-21 long throws. Thats why i sold mine.
I’m afraid that was a technique error by yourself. Lol

Give Morgan a go on a rotary. That will be funny!

But I need more info

So does this make a gear driven more prone to burning through? Or does is it just as safe as the ransoms?
It is on edge work yes
I’m thinking seriously to get the Mille!!
Buy the Flex. The end
I have a 3401 which is very nice...the mille definitely peaks my curiousity
@@J1Z06 they both produce the same results, just get there in a slightly different way, and in opposite directions. 😁
Go with makita po6000 is GA and rando orbital with just a buton swap❤

There are classes for learning to use a polisher. LMAO
I didn't understand the differences :( Sorry....
The machine will ALWAYS spin no matter what unlike a random orbital.

It's a bit harder to use than a DA but unless your a spastic you can master quickly.
