We need activists like you to hold professionals to task. The way you engage people and set up brave spaces for sharing is phenomenal. Any social workers or manager watching this , get in touch with Clarissa now ! Highly recommended for positive change and relational culture :)

What a breath of fresh air, this type of parent advocacy is so needed, thank you Clarissa for showing there is hope and support for those going through the social care system and more importantly that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Ive work with so many parents who really need to see there are people out there like you Clarissa, providing support for those who feel lost and alone in their journey, thank you, you’re an inspiration ✨🙏❤

You are such an inspiration, turning your pain into power. It's a pleasure working alongside you and your impact on MY life is immeasurable. In my opinion mountains move when you speak and your actions verify this.
These words should peek interest from not just social workers but ALL who are in the care profession. I'm honoured to consider you not just a colleague but a friend. Thank you

Amazing- Well done in putting this together in such a positive way- challenging the stereotypes of parents who loose their children to adoption.
As a social worker I try hard to keep in mind the impact adoption has not just on children’s lives but birth parents too.
In my role as an adoption support social worker for over 20 years
I can only think or one or two parents who don’t love their children and want to do what’s best for them- for most, who find themselves having their children removed from them it’s owing to their own life experiences of trauma that make that a challenge.
Keep up the great work in supporting these parents and help their voice to be heard.
You are the shining beacon of hope; showing that with the right support, people can recreate themselves and do wonderful things.
Please continue to shine the light and continue to Help and support others who are going through the horrendous journey of safeguarding, the courts and ultimately having their child/ren removed from their care.
We as social workers need to be proactive and build a positive relationship with birth parents and offer support and opportunities to create change .
