I bought a Z50 about two weeks ago. It was my first motorcycle about 50 years ago. Matthew Motorcycle Repair has a whole series and all of the available manuals on his channel.
Thanks for this series. I inherited a 1970 Z50 and it needs some TLC. I have the Haynes manual but it's always great to see it for yourself. Love your manner dude. You make it look easy.
I'm happy to know that the trailer fender got finished. I am building a tandem trailer from my old travel trailer that got crushed with snow last winter. Keep having fun. Get Sidekick out there to help ya'll.
Enjoyed the video series. I’m tearing into a 73 as I type this. I’ve got a big bore kit coming this week. The old cylinder and piston were bad. Looking forward to the next video.
Awesome videos about the Z50 dude! I have two Monkeys myself (a50cc and a 125cc) and your mechanical "how you do it" is very useful for me. Can't wait to see more videos about it when the Z50 is pretty and drivable. Keep up the good work!
I enjoy all your videos. I am restoring 1974 50cc now and I want to know where you got the new tank from. The old 5tank on the bike is patch with JB Weld !. Thanks again for showing the videos.
@@kentuckyyankee if your looking for parts, there is a great website you can check out. Its chpmotorsports.com They got a great selection just select z50 k3 to find parts. Dont worry that it says k3, your model and some of the previous models are almost the exact same. Happy shopping

Great video for tear down and inspection. Especially with the state of the rims.

I need to get back to this project! Soon 😂
Another great video. You should be able to get the wheel bearing sets for less than 10 bucks a wheel with seals. Happy parts hunting!
Thanks! I love this little bike, was just a cool find. Buying and cleaning parts a little at a time.
As always, another riveting video. And we are aware of the death by a thousand cuts of motorped restoration!
😂😂Thanks and yes can be painful. Thanks for checking in 🧙♂️

Any progress? Working on putting my 1970 Z50 together with the 88cc big bore kit.
Not much, sandblasted and primed the frame, I need to get back on it
I would gold plate the fenders, kinda like "pimp my ride"
